6.7s with manual and PP. I don't know if I just suck or what. Car is stock

Edit: This is just on the street w/ car isn S+ and TC off. Kinda warm tires

Edit2: I'm pretty sure you have to shift into 3rd on the manual PP cars to get to 60... Posted time includes me shifting into 3rd
You're doing better than I am... 7.1 is my best. Gyah, launching my LGT and WRXs was so much easier... :( I suck, lol. How much diff does altitude play? I'm figuring not much on a turbo car. I'm at 5000ft.

AT, 3.15 rear 235/55/17 all seasons, Unleashed 91 OCT tune. Otherwise bone stock, 300 miles.

85*, 47% Humidity, 104* IATs

Blacktop road surface

Traction control off, launching at 1000, rolling briskly into the throttle.

Lots of wheel spin through first, but not yaw inducing- more trying desperately to hook

5.5 0-60

Just did 6.25 in my A4 with my P3 recording it, I hope I can beat that with my EBM
Couple of mods and you will smoke the heck out of that time. I ran another 5.3 tonight... wanted to test it since putting on my Magnaflow mufflers (still have my resonator in).

The guy below is hitting 4.8... but look at his launch... very similar to what I do. Put it in "S+"... give it a punch to get it going and then floor it. If you floor it from the start or take off TC, you spin, which costs you time.

Dearborn's time is a result of his tires and he is also tuned. He left on boost and got no spin. I'll be lookin for some good tires next summer

Ah, yes, I missed that.

He says in the comments on mods: Livernois tune 93 octane version 3 , Map cold air intake , mickey Thompson tires that's all.

He does not say which tires... wish people put that info in comments. LOL

Still impressive for what $1500??.

I did 5.6 bone stock. You should beat that time easily.
tune only I was @ 5.0.
I can't wait.

Actually, my best 0-60 with my A4 was 5.11, that was before the Recaros were installed (S4 Recaros are heavier and the passenger side is fully automatic vs manual)

Definitely testing it out once I get it, would taking it to Raceway park be a bad idea within the first 1000 though?

Well I just managed a 6.0 with my car. I'm pretty happy to do that but I still want to try getting under 6 before I tune. I'm ordering Accessport now so I won't have long :3

Ordering my tune and cai from Map tomorrow. All I have been able to manage so far is 5.8-6.0, 0-60 times.

Hey guys, so stock I was consistently rocking a 5.7/5.8 0-60 and yesterday I flashed the Cobb stage 1 91 octane and I'm simply perplexed. I can't seem to get below 6.0, and it's usually closer to 6.2. Does anybody have an idea of what could be going on?
I already made sure it was in slot one, so it's definitely the performance slot set. I also can't seem to get beyond 19.5lbs of boost either, even with 65 degree IATs.

You may need to reset and redo the flash.

It's also a good idea to make sure the clamps on the charge pipes are secured.

I tested the exact same way stock and with tune to verify changes, back to back (with a cool off drive between runs).

I'm now at 5.2 with lots more in it (and T/C hitting in 1st and during the 1-2 shift). My data logs show the car pulling back on the timing so better fuel (actually an E30 tune) should put me well into the 4's on these crappy 235 all seasons. Torrie is the man!

I will have stickier 275's on within a week or so and expect that to dramatically impact times as well (lighter and shorter setup).

make sure you have no spin off the line... I normally rev to 2k/2.5k and let off the brakes... I let it get grip and then I floor it...

I have learned with different tunes I have to relearn how to launch the car off the line. Well, even with different roads, etc.

My 2 cents... Trying to help...

Ill definitely try that later on tonight! I was starting to think I had gotten a bad batch of gas or I had a boost leak but I'll definitely do some experimenting and try and come up with a solution.
The worst feeling ever is being stoked about a new tune and then your car somehow becomes slower.
