Unfortunate that it has a sound track but there are some good shots here - esp a close-up of the turbo-boost guage.

Even over the Shitty Music that Engine Sounds Awesome in my Opinion at the 1:08-1:30 Mark. That's What I Wanna Hear More than Exhaust. However These Guys Have No Business Doing a Press Event with Videos Like this. Why Play Music over the Sound of the car and then Drive down the road holding the Cellphone Camera they used out of the window to look at the Beach? The Only Good thing was that Engine Sound!

It IS NOT FAKE ENGINE SOUND... I Don't Know Where People are Coming Up with this.

They never said it creates Artificial Engine Sounds. What it does is similar to Noise Cancelling Headphones. It esentially cancels out Unwanted, Unpleasant Sounds inherent to an Inline 4 Cylinder Turbocharged Engine, by Creating a Sound Wave, using a Microphone in the Cabin not the Engine Compartment, that is the Exact Opposite of the Unpleasant Sound. As someone else pointed out, BMW uses the Exact Same Technology in its M-5 and M-6 but BMW Actually does "Re-Create" Actual Engine Sounds via Computer and play them through the sound system, which Ford is Not doing here.Similar technology is also used by Porsche and many other High End Auto Makers. The 5.0 GT Is the one that has Engine Noise Piped into the Cabin through the "Sound Symposer" aka Intake Sound Tube.

Here is an article from the New York Daily News about this technology.

Finally got to hear the exhaust...and just as expected, it's underwhelming. The exhaust note in my Flex sounds similar, it's kinda fun but far from heart pounding.

Also, I'd hardly call any exhaust note with that amount of audio engineering as "natural". But, it is what it is. I've never heard a 4 cyl that sounded amazing but it isn't terrible. Kudos to Ford for throwing the kitchen sink at it to get it up to par.
