Hi Guys,

There doesn't seem to be much information regarding a sub installation for 6G RHD Mustang, so I thought I'd document my sub install of a JL Audio Stealthbox into a RHD 2017 Mustang GT. Hope it helps.

If you don't mind me asking how much did that cost, it looks almost factory

Thanks man!
I pick mine up tomorrow. Time to start modifying :)

I had to make my own for my Rangie. I used a 13" Focal driver.

The sub itself is made to fit where the factory sub goes. JL Audio supply all the hardware. It uses two bolting locations that the factory sub would use plus an additional one near the tail light. The only mods you need to make to the car itself is cutting some small holes in the boot liner to allow the 3 bolts to pass through. Overall not a difficult install. As for the electrics, read my guide attached in the first post

Great write-up and pictures. The instructions seem to follow the LH drive model very closely... Should be good for everyone to use!

Have been requesting more information as to how I'm supposed to install a powered subwoofer in the trunk, and the safest way to do so, but didn't get any replies on the forum. Your post saved me a lot of hassle Adrian!! Thanks a bunch, man!!

One question for you, though! How's the signal from the rear deck? I read somewhere that it was best to use the input signal directly from the factory amp instead.

I haven't hand any issue getting the signal from the rear speakers. Yes its true you can get it from the head unit and line signal is definitely better, but its less critical for a sub. I also didn't feel motivated to pull the dash apart on a new car. Glad I could help
