GT350R: Date Produced vs. Chassis Number - share your info please!

On that other forum somebody spied:

GR443 White
GR444 White
GR445 Yellow
GR446 Gray

as having been "built this a.m. (5/20/16)". I figured us waiting R buyers would love to interpolate our chassis numbers, and I suspect that current owners would find it interesting too.

Current owners: please add your production date and chassis number here. If you want to add your city, color, etc. that's cool too. The spreadsheet is open for all to edit.

OR, post here and I'll edit the spreadsheet myself.

Who has spied 440's? That's depressing. Mine should be ~220. I won't know until next week.

On that other forum there's a thread titled "GT350R Chassis #....". Apparently he saw those car on the line.

Ah, IC. So I guess they are at or near 500. Production changes over next weekend.

man.... cutting it close. I have a build date of next Thursday. It's listed as "In Production" right now. I'm not sure at which time it acquires it's actual chassis #...now or when it's complete/close to complete.

I imagine its when the car actually rolls down the line. Is your blend date next Thursday? (on window sticker)

Mines GR222, VIN 5524626 and built 4/04.
Since your's is now on a train it should be getting close FTD.

When you say "spied" these chassis numbers did they actually see cars with these chassis numbers on the dash of cars or what do think they spied?

On one of the other threads, the list has 349 R's as of about a week or two ago.
I suspect, they are pushing to finish up, before the 17's come on track.
Be interesting to see the final numbers.

Chassis numbers question

Do the chassis numbers start over with each model year? Was wondering if the number plate inside the car would start at 0001 for 2017's.

yes, should start with HR001 for 2017
2016's were GR???
and 2015's were FR ??
