Yes, JLT CAI will improve overall performance and lower your 1/4 time (if you can launch...lol)

Here is my 1/4 mile slip from 12/19/15. Air temp 55F and DA -597ft. Tune, Catback and stock tires.

And here is another 1/4 mile slip from today 04/09/16. Air temp 71F and DA 661ft. Tune, Catback, JLT CAI and stock tires.

Yes, today I ran 0.095 slower which is pretty reasonable with this weather. But take a look at the trap speed and 60' from today's slip. Trap speed improved, not by much but still improved. 60' today is terrible and if I can get it down to 2.0 I can see times such as 13.4 (not bad for V6). In fact I did get my 60' down to 2.0 today but I missed 2nd gear and end up running 14.6 (I know, I know I got over excited with decent launch lol). Numbers don't lie, JLT made my car perform better and I will be back for low 13s once weather gets colder and hopefully by that time I will have some drag radials.

I can't wait man!! At first I was so sceptical about buying CAI but now I'm glad I did. And thanks to Alex from American Muscle for the forum discount and upgraded 2-day shipping!

Even if you got that 2.0 60 ft back, youd be sitting at 13.5-13.4 in good air

Get some shorty headers on there next. I had to re tune for mine. Didnt really feel any difference with the old tune, and when torrie re did the tune after a data log with shorties, i noticed it picked up for sure

I'm very happy with my shorties .... I didn't notice any increase in drone in fact I think it went down some before I could cruise between 55-75ish and it was slightly noticeable now it's just a car with a nice exhaust note. The shorties definitely make the car flow better and make some power. The best part to me is the deep tone it gives and it almost sounds like it's slowed the pulses down and has that v8 burble to it..... All in all I love mine and recommend them :thumbsup: only down side is if you self install can be a pain in the rear :frusty:

Shorty headers will be my next mod. Last night I was able to put down 13.6 with same mods while DA was at 1100ft. You can check out my slip at 1/4 mile section.

how do you like it? I am on the fence between this and the Roush, leaning towards JLT though...

Shorties actually reduced drone and increased a bass like tone. Sounds deeper for sure especially down low.

Go jlt for sure. The roush is ugly and imo not that great of a design

1) RE: CAI - Keep in mind that JLT is oiled filter and Roush is dry filter. I'm not arguing for what's better, just stating the fact. Some people might have preference.

2) Artem - what did you launch at?
