Pretty excited for this.

The first mod almost anyone does is a catback, and then later regret not getting headers and catback together for a performance connection. And even then, most systems that aren't of the same make in header and exhaust don't play nice with each other and your adding pieces, welding, etc. to get rid of the factory connection point.

Most catbacks are 3", and then have some sort of neckdown to the 2.25" factory connection point. Corsa uses and extension piece, which results in an extra clamp in the system. MBRP just slides the size down on a single portion of pipe. All the system are slightly different.

We have been playing with different configurations that should work with just about any exhaust system out there.

The system will have a flare to cover all of the 3" systems, 0-2" of trim down may be needed on the header lead pipes, and you will be able to cut off the neckdown of your aftermarket systems for a single point of 3" connection.

Corsas you will simply cut off the flared section of the lead pipes to leave the 3" section of pipe that will slide right into the corsa system. The corsa insert at the perf connection side is 3". The corsa pipe itself is already flared out to go over 3" and will have a single 3" connection point.

So, no more worrying about purchasing a factory connect system, with plans to do headers later and having to weld, cut, and clamp multiple sections of piping which always leads to a looser, more rattling exhaust.

These systems will be available in the Stainless Works or Stainless power in catted and offroad configurations.

The best thing about this is it's a TEAM BEEFCAKE RACING EXCLUSIVE!!!

Thats right! These systems are an exclusive we have been working on some time to offer to the guys and gals! The systems will only be $75 more than the current header systems at retail. We have 75 sets on order, so we should be able to fulfill lots of orders rather quickly.

Sweet! This will save a lot of people the headache of locating a piece of 3" pipe and extra clamps.

Quick question. I have SP Headers (with cats) and factory connect. I may change my exhaust in the future to corsa, so I'll want the performance connect. Do you sell the perf connect pipes separately as well?

yes, we can do the lead pipes seperately if you already have sw headers

So this is a system that changes the SW or SP headers to a performance connect, basically you cut off some of your catback and swap the lead pipes? I was under the impression some header companies already come with a performance connection and you just have to modify the catback to work...

I've got a set of kook's coming in and was just planning on doing what you said, buying a couple pieces of 3"ID and OD pipe then cutting and welding the pieces to make it like a bolt-on setup. I ask because this is specific to only those in the market of SW or SP headers??

no,

stainless works / power already has a performance connect system.

if you buy the same manufacturers system, like say stainless works in the performance connect, at the same time meaning their headers and their cat back, they are designed to mate together in full 3",

fact connect systems are designed to all mate together at the factory neckdown point, allowing you to mix and match any fact connect header with any brand fact connect exhaust.

same as your kooks, it will mate at the fact connection point to mate to your oem , or any other cat back. if you ordered kooks cat back and kooks headers at the same time, the leads and cat back would be different

you can't just buy the reg sw headers in perf connect or kooks, etc. and expect them to work with a catback as they won't be long enough in the lead area.

thats why you have to add sections of piping in.

so, now sw / sp will have fact connect, perf connect (designed to work with their perf connect system) and perf connect "long", the long design will allow you to connect to a variety of "fact" connect catbacks and eliminate the fact connection point.

Got it, this system is for those buying sp/sw headers but they've already got a factory connection catback, so they only have to make two cuts with zero welding versus 4 and some welding. Thanks.

I'm interested in just the extended pieces. I have a set of SW catted LTs with perf. connect waiting to be installed along with my Corsa Sport catback. I'd prefer to have less piping so if all I have to do is replace the leads with longer ones I'm all for that.

Please PM for pricing on just the leads if this is what you're offering.

Send him a PM, vendors typically don't post pricing on each thread unless it's MSRP or "we'll beat the competition".
He doesn't have to post a price here that's fine. My first post was asking how I go about purchasing this since it seems like it's a kit that comes with the headers. I already purchased the headers...from Beefcake.

beefcake if this option is indeed available to purchase separate from the headers, please send me a price via PM. Thank you!
