There is more to the conversation. To hear it from the start.

Right, I watched it all the way through. He liked the handling and felt it was a more balanced car. My feeling too when I drove them both side by side at the dealer. If only Ford could do something about the exhaust note on the EB.
I'd take a GT350R, though :)

i didnt take it as he liked the EB over the 5.0. Just that he was impressed with the EB compared to the old SVO turbo.

yeah he said the GT was a nose heavy muscle car, and was surprised with the eco. I was amazed when I test drove an eco, but still left with a GT.

Watch it again. He mentions how much he liked the old SVO and then compares the GT and EB that Ford dropped off for him to drive. The comparison is between the GT and the EB, not between the SVO and the EB. That wouldn't even be a comparison considering the 30 year difference in the cars.

Someone give a timestamp? I sifted through but couldn't find it, and it's nearly a 30 min video.

He definitely did a direct comparison between the EB and the 5.0 and explains how he enjoyed driving the EB a lot more.

I don't see that at all... He chose to talk about it because it surprised him, he knew what he was going to get with the GT
edit: Of course you drive an eco, if it makes you feel better about your decision then we will all digress so you can feel better

Just kidding

What is the weight difference over the front end between the Eco and GT? just curious.

He said, "I liked the GT, I loved the EB". Most of us are just surprised to hear a guy like Jay Leno had the same opinion most of us did about the car. I drove both a GT and an EB and ended up with an EB.

I'm so glad cause if he liked the GT better I would have sold the EB immediately.
