Shift light

I am looking to incorporate a shift light to my 15gt premium. My car tack turns red to let me know when I pass 6500 rpm but I am supercharged and trying to shift at 7200 now and keep my eyes on the road.Has any one tried something like this? Is it even possible? If so any brand in particular?

Ahh man I miss shift lights. My first manual, and last car, was a Pontiac g5 that had a gear that lit up on the IP that indicated when to shift. First thing I noticed missing when I first drove my gt.

I have my ngauge lights setup to turn on at 7000 and then at 7500

I use Dashcommand android app with ELM327 Bluetooth for all kinds of obd2 info. One of the pages is dedicated to shift points for manual trans. There are some downloadable dashboards that also do shift lights. I have my phone dash mounted in landscape where it's easily visible. Pretty cool app for $10 paired with a $5 Bluetooth obd2.

The premium do but is not adjustable.
I will probably purchase the raptor also.

You superchagerer guys really want to ride the light fantastic. And you go to 7200 RPM?
How long will your engine survive such abuse? Did you upgrade rotating engine internals?

Holding up just fine and even on the stock clutch. I did a few launches and line locks today for family. My brother n law was going to buy a 370z until today :headbang:

He is ordering a 2016 GT now.
