Hey guys,

I decided to go all out with my EB so I got the saddle leather premium with the heated and cooled seats (which don't work worth a damn) and the shaker system that rattles and vibrates which drives me crazy. I actually like the seats a bit I'm disappointed that my cooled seats barely work. On a day that's 80 degrees or higher, I can't even tell if they are on. They certainly don't work like other cooled seats in ford vehicles I've had before. For the money I could have saved I could have also had the recaro seats. Also I use the SD card slot for my music and every other day it decided to "re-index" and won't play for 5 mins and then takes 20 minutes for me to be able to navigate... Are any of you guys having the same feelings toward this package at all? Lastly I'm disappointed that some of the options can't be separated, like leather seats without the heated and cooled option, 3.55 without the PP, and also the fact that the recaros are not available with the convertible... What's up with that?

I like everything about it (401a). My seats cool pretty well (backs are perfect but certainly dont get warm like other people have experienced) and the pro audio system is adequate (I'll probably change speakers). I havent tried an SD card yet; how does that work with the Nav?

I'm happy with my premium. Shaker sounds great to me. Seats get cool. Definitely helps in the Texas heat.
Is my car perfect? No. I am happy though and plan on keeping it for at least 3 years. Get your seats looked at and learn to enjoy your car as it is. No car is perfect.

-Seat bottoms definitely cool more than the seat backs, but my seat backs do not get hot as others have experienced
-Shaker sound system sounds fine to me (comparing to the HK in my previous 04 M3)
-I play my music through a thumb drive and works perfect, definitely better than the 6-CD changer in the M3

While I wish the seat backs cooled better, I am very happy on balance with the Premium package. I was worried I wouldn't like MFT, but it works very well. Nav is excellent and voice control works well once you figure out how to work with it. Premium let me order Premier, and that's the ticket. I love the Redline interior.

I really thought I was going to order Base trim. Had I done that, I would be wishing I had upgraded.

401A here and love it. I'll have to take College leisure learning classes to figure out what all these buttons are for. LOL

Will you be driving to those classes? Nah who am I kidding.

A lot of the updated features of driving modes and steering feel can't be used when pushing the car either.

Premium package was a must for me, although I don't have 401a. 401a would've been nice, as my previous car had BLIS, memory seats, but oh well. Base model is terrible - the small screen, no climate control, no leather seats, etc. There are so many small features the premium package adds like pony projection lights, ambient lights, etc.

Cooled seats could be better - it definitely does cool the base of the seat. My seat back doesn't get cold, nor does it get hot (like others). I'm glad it's there, because it's an upscale feature not even found on some entry level German sedans

No regrets here...in fact it was a selling point....when I first saw the car and the interior I was sold...like others have said I just wish the cooled seats worked better...and the Shaker stereo is adequate at best

Off topic:

Glad you are enjoying your new 15. Always a huge fan of your RR.

Sort of on topic:

Premium was just wasted money for me on the car. I don't need leather or technology. I'm glad I went with 300a again. I just wish base would have gotten the drive modes.

Mostly wanted the toggle switches. I just like the overall feel of the premium. Wouldn't buy a Mustang if it wasn't offered.

With all the Mustang offers and for the price, why would any young guy bother with a German? Good luck getting a decently loaded 2 series when a fully loaded Premium Boosting/GT can give you all for less and fuggedabout comparing Stang verts to German verts

I'm happy with my stang from my previous test drives knowing what to expect, just another month and change to go

Gps will not work if you inert a sd card with music as there is an sd card in there for the gps.
