I just installed a set of Brembo 6 pot brakes onto my EB PP. Everything fit without any issues.

Initial bite has increased, I am sure it will also do much better at my upcoming trackday.

For those of you who don't know the GT PP caliper is impressive, it's main advantage is being one piece!

Please leave any comments or questions here.

2015 ecoboost PP/standard GT caliper
4 piston
Disc 29lbs
Pads and hardware 3.2lbs
Caliper 11.6lbs
43.8lbs total (one side)

2015 GT PP
6 piston Brembo
Disc 34lbs
Pads and hardware 4.7lbs
Caliper 10lbs
48.7lbs total (one side)

Wow! Cool and and thanks for the technical information. I can see that both calipers are the same size. Interesting.

Any interest in selling your EB PP front rotors and calipers? This was something I was looking at upgrading to. I won't do many HPDE's, but will autocross a few times a year and the bigger rotors and pads will be nice to have when the good tires go on.

Yeah physically they are both about the same size.

A few things that I really like about both calipers are:

Integrated crossover tubes: there is no possibility of hitting or damaging it when taking off your wheels.

No paint! Most people on here wish that these calipers were painted but for tracking this is what you want. No bubbling paint or fading will happen with the cast aluminum finish or the black hard anodize on the 6 pot Brembo.

Yes I will be selling them. I have a local guy who wants to test fit them on his 2014 GT so if that doesn't work out I will pm you.

Very cool! :clap2:

Did you get the Ford Racing upgrade kit? So are the rears GT?

What about those counter weights? No intent to hijack the thread.

There was actually an eBay ad with a guy taking them off his car since he is making it a full race car. These only had 10 miles on it.

The rears are the same for all models I believe.

Counterweights took almost 12 pounds off the car, there's another thread that I made the other day

What mounting hardware changed? Did the lines swap over?
I'd be interested for AutoX/HPDE events too.

Pads will be cheaper for the 4 piston, and the 4 piston ones are actually stronger than the 1 piece 6 pistons.

HPDE guys should stick to the 4 piston ones mainly for the cheaper track pads (consumable $$), and better resistance to torque twisting.

Street guys should upgrade to the 6 piston for better initial bite with a street pad.

Everything swaps over. Lines are the same and caliper mounting hardware.

While pads are cheaper due to it being a monoblock construction with the additional bridge it will be stiffer over the 2 piece 4 piston piece.

The 6 piston Brembo will be much more resistant to fade.

I have already tested the 4 Pistons road racing and they are good but track pads are a must as well as some good fluid.

Not sure where this additional bridge you are talking about is? I've used the 4 piston bolt together on my race car for a reason. Although pads were far from cheap, just cheaper than the 6 and the 6 wasn't as stiff.

So the Ecoboost PP wheels fit over the GT PP Brembos? Interesting.

Edit: Thought they were 18" wheels, oh well.
