Forum attachments so you know it won't disappear when the next host decides to go nuclear like Photobucket...

I can never get the pictures sized small enough to attach.

Here is what worked for me. Create album on here, download your pictures into the album. Click on the thumbnail to open your picture, right click and copy and then paste it in your post. Here is an example.

Besides just image hosting, why not all data hosting? The likes of Box.com and OneDrive works well.

I hope this helps. Unless i have totally misunderstood the initial question.

You can't embed those easily and typically (at least whenever I try to click on them months later) links get janky and stop working.

For those with images too large, if you use a Windows computer, I use this little tool. Install it one time, then from that point you can just select your images in explore, right click, and then "resize pictures". Works quickly and you can choose a number of different sizes that will fall under the max allowed size for the forum.

Flickr.com works very well for me.
You can set it for automatic uploads from your phone if you install the app.

Interested as well. The elimination of photobucket has reduced my posting. Definitely haven’t posted a photo since. Would like to have something as easy to use as photobucket from my phone. Don’t want to mess with my laptop to post.
