FYI for any one with a S550 considering the GT 350 heads, the 15-16 intake manifold wont work-.

VMP discovered this when they did the comparo of a GT/GT 350/Cobra ejt intake on a GT 350-I did not find the article until after we figured it out.

You either have to use an 11-14 ,Boss or GT 350 intake.

Fortunately I had an 11-14 intake gathering dust in my garage off my 12 TVS car.

Below is a comparison of stock 15 heads/15 intake gaskets(above) and GT 350 heads/15 intake gaskets(below)

As you know that intake lacks the IMRC so tuner will have to fix that.

Engine is being broken per MMR instructions so doubt she will see any racing this season.

I may just retire her since already achieved my goal of mid 9's(yeah right!) and just have a very fast street car.lol

when I am brave enough I am sure I will make a pass turning the 55's all the way up.

May be upgrade to 62's if I decide to make a race car out of her .

Will need a cage for sure as she should run 8's then

Lol
I wish I did .
...but that's all you have to add?

Why do you ask ?
I hate to sound defensive but the are more expensive builds on this site alone .
Also lots of other forum members with more expensive garages /collections .

.....but if you really need to know,no, I don't have a "money tree " but many of my colleagues drive cars that cost more than my 3 mustangs combined(including cost of the builds).

That is my last line of defense when the wife starts to complain .
Lol

Looks like you might have a bit of money "shrub" growing in your back yard judging by your build thread below.
Lol

LMAO.

Anyways, olaosunt GREAT dyno numbers AND ET to boot from the Hellion kit. Do you drive around with the Hellion kit as a daily driver? I ask because of the complaints that ppl have spoken about excessive heat and parts melting etc. A little off topic but what are the plans with the KB 3.2 ride since it just laid down a whopping 855 RWHP?

I hope I did not come across as a dick head or braggart but the guy sounds like my wife!( and she is not a car person).

Back on topic though-Hellion car has been down for almost 2 months but I did drive it every chance I got(mostly to the drag strip, lol).

I bought the car May 2015 and it had the Hellion kit on after 2000 miles. It had 4000 miles when I blew the stock motor .It made it to 16,000 miles with the alluminator and so far I have not had ANY issues with heat.
I never see IAT's more than 7 over ambient but not sure if it is measuring post compression like the KB which sees 20-40 over regularly.

I did not daily drive it as I have an Audi S4 as a daily driver(winter) and had a M235 as summer drive until my teenage daughter inherited it ....and totaled it. She has just totaled the mini cooper I bought her as replacement-(now she thinks I have a money tree).
I will probably drive the Hellion car daily now since having to pass on the Audi to wife while the sprog drives her Explorer. Probably alternate with the GT 350.

Regarding the KB,I had planed on trading it with my 12 for the GT 350 when it had the on3, but it broke at the track the weekend before.
No choice but to build it back up... right?

I may drag race it once or twice but I should really try and sell it before it breaks again..... since I DONT have a money tree.

No problem "hellion bro".

you must have a "money forest" judging by your recent build. lol

I always post my successes and failures so others can learn.

Doing my part for the environment by saving them all that paper..... go to

offset my carbon foot print somehow, being catless and all!

That is the whole point of the forum ,right?

haha, yes I'm definitely over budget but outside of my family my car comes first . I typically try to do the same, post up all of my results and feedback from my experiences, makes the hobby more fun. Good luck with your builds, lol, keep us posted.

In all seriousness, you should consider maybe not buying her a third car. Not because she'll think you have a money tree, but because she seems like a danger to society and herself...
