Am curious if anyone else runs into this? My hood looks like it's hanging on for dear life at higher RPMs and especially when shifting.

Not sure if it's due to the intake piping touching the hood or what.

Anything that you've done that helps mitigate this?

Hood shake is normal for the stock car. Worse when you have a blower with a open air filter that lets the backwash out under decel.

My GT flutters at speed. Scared me the first time I saw it. Thought I didn't close the hood all the way.

Either way, I don't have the means to film it and I can't see far enough forward to see if it is like the video in the post below of a GT350 - but I sure hope not!

I will take a picture of my setup.

So with a Paxton you get the intake hitting the hood HARD after acceleration causing it to look like it is trying to jump out of the hood. Simply string three zipties together and hold it to the IC pipe. NO more issues at all for me.

If you get it without a Paxton you need to make sure you look at the belly-pan covers because without the covers on you will get big hood lift at 70-80mph.

The hood lift is common for these cars, as the hood is aluminum and thin. I hope Ford improves the design to prevent the lift in the MY2017 Mustang.

I think the problem is that too much air is getting trapped under the hood since the entire underbelly is covered now. Now that I have the Roush front cover, I think the hood bulge/lift is worse than before. I wonder if the Roush hood vents allow any more air to escape?

Mine is a Vortech and it's touching, so would def appreciate a pic!

I also have an open filter and like badGTR said, doesn't help. It literally looks like it's going to fly off.

Their is a great video on YouTube " Blowen Stang " Supercharged mustang vs Srt viper. Hood looks like it's coming up an inch or better at 150mph. Don't panic though, it's not going anywhere.
