I put a $2000 non-refundable deposit when I ordered mine in July. Only mark up they add was a $398 "admin charge". Car was built on Oct 26 and now I am waiting for delivery. Two days ago I asked for a work up for finance from the dealer and nothing had change - still MSRP + $398 admin charge. Only extra I will have to pay will be license and registration, etc., that's all.

Mine is a white with over the top blue strips like in this picture, with Track Pack.

Have any of you thought that just maybe this is a good exposure tool for this dealership? Maybe their sales manager cruises this forum and maybe he/she/it came up with the brilliant idea to gain attention to their dealership and this car by claiming an absurd-ass ADM...

Looks like it has worked if that were the case. No doubt, they will now get a higher ADM than the measly "fair" price they gave Shelby_r.

Talking with dealers, this is exactly what they do. They buy the car to draw people in. They have a outrages price knowing no one will buy, so they got them in and try to sell them something else. Bait and switch has been going on for years. Then if some fool does buy it at there price, it's icing on the cake.

Yup, that dealer is just messing with ya! 200k is what you'd see for #1 SN, running across the block at Barrett Jackson, not some podunk dealer.

You can tell this dealer doesn't make any profit nor have repeat customers. This is their one chance to make a buck and I hope they fail!!

I was actually at BJ last year when VIN #1 went across the block and as we all know it went for a cool $1,000,000.

Yes, it was an R model but still very impressive.

:cheers:

They'll sell it for $20-30k over.
With all due respect if the 2016 GT350's are selling for $10K to $15K over MSRP do you really think that this dealer will settle for $20K to $30K over for this 1 of 50 Track Pack 2015 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Shelby ?

Is $200K out of line for this car, absolutely but the dealer is only into this car for ~$40K and with money so cheap these days it costs them very little to carry this car from a financing standpoint therefore I suggest that they will take their sweet time with this car unless someone caves in on the short term?

We all know that these 2015 Shelby's are much more rare than even a 2016 GT350R and look what money the 2016 R's are commanding.

This dealer knows that he hit the lottery with Ford on this 2015 Shelby GT350 and unfortunately they are going to milk this one for as long as it takes in order to get an outrageous price for this car.

A sad commentary and hope that I am wrong?

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

What this car is worth in the end, no one will know.
But any car guy see's this, will never step foot in this dealership.
SO using is as sales tool is a fine line. Better off to not post price.
People will come,see and maybe offer, then its a sales tool.
How rare is it, only time will tell, true value also.

I just got off the phone with them and talked with the sales manager I bought a few cars from. He told me they are at a 30K ADM for the 15. Still to crazy for me but figured I'd
let people know.
