Seems reasonable considering its a very limited "2015 Ford Shelby GT350 Shelby GT500 Coupe Coupe V8" You're basically getting two cars in one......

Just can't get enuff!
That is nuts turning down 97K...
14 total non-R DIBs for MY2015.
1 out of 9 Tech packs with DIB exterior.
And there were 5 Track w/ DIB.

On the bright side, they apparently sold their 2016 for MSRP. :D

I remember when the common thinking was that all of the 2015s were spoken for. What is this, the 3rd one recently?

Not that it matters but months ago I posted up that they had one available but at the time I guess there was'nt that much interest.

Most of them were. . . but there may be under 10 +/- that made it to dealers through the lottery system. . . That's what I heard from Ford @ Laguna Seca Track Tour.

Anyhow, once one makes it on Ebay I'd suspect we will see what market value is. I do know that months ago some sold for $95K - $115K (non R cars.)

All in all, they're worth what someone is willing to pay for them.

At least the 3rd that I have seen on forums. There are really not many of us looking for one of these GT350s to sock away for 40 or 50 years. The guys who have one can let those of us still living how their investment worked out half a century from now. They could be a hot item then or just another dinosaur when everything is electric.

I had the opp to purchase this car months ago, but I think you hit it right on the head, I wanted to drive the car, so opted for a 16, I was'nt quoted a price but was sure that there would be a premium which is perfectly acceptable on a car like this

You don’t want to know
It will be interesting to see how many of the '15s show up at the January collector car auctions in Scottsdale. I've heard of at least one.

Now's the best time to make a profit on reselling one, unless you want to hold it 20 years for a collector car auction. There may also be an uptick in the market in about 5 years when the extreme CAFE standards go into effect and V8s start disappearing.

I just don't see much value in a 15 over a 16. If the car was different in some way then I could see an argument, but since it is the exact same car the "limited" numbers don't have any real significance IMO. I guess we'll see in a few decades.

the 15's will be worth more in years to come, but only
if car is driven very little and stays in mint condition.
For me would not be worth the extra now, even if I could find
one, as I plan to drive mine and enjoy it. :)

Well a 65 GT350 sells for more then a 66 GT350 in today's market. But what will happen in 40 years is anybody guess. That's what they are betting on.
