Got them installed today, definitely much louder. No drone though. I'd say about 30-40% louder. I'm still getting used to them.
Awesome. If you can, a video would be great. Did you go catted or catless?

That's badass and I definitely want to hear it. Would you say that cold start and at idle is 30 to 40% louder then just the MBRP or just on the throttle? And still no drone that's very great news.

That sounds good. Not too loud, I don't think. If you have time would love to hear a few revs and maybe some drive bys if possible. And maybe a cold start tomorrow morning? I know, I'm pushing it. :)

Do you notice any smell with the catless? I'm thinking I will be going catted - so should be a bit quiter as well..

Idle sounds nice. My headers will be here Tuesday I will see how it sounds with my current exhaust set up. I may switch to the mbrp also!

I'll get more video later, I really don't want the girlfriend filming it cause I don't want to hear her complain how loud it is. Don't get me wrong, it sounds totally mean as $hit!!! I'm just trying to get used to it. Makes plenty of heads turn when WOT.

There is no smell with the Catless so far, and I have been driving it all evening. I can smell some fuel when behind the car but absolutely none inside.

Thanks for doing more video later. Regarding smell - I was not thinking from the inside, but when you are behind the car. My catless 135i had a very strong rotten eggs smell.

Im considering adding cats just for the reduction in sound. I can only imagine how loud the RACE series exhaust will be.

Interesting. Think I will be going with cats for sure. Will probably start with just the headers, see how it sounds and go from there.

Ok...ok! I'm sorry. Didn't have time to make videos. Just to fill those in who care, I use my car as a DD. The setup was just too loud for me. It sounded great at idle and great when going slow. It did not have any drone. But.....when you hit it, it was crazy loud! The car just ripped! I'm in my 40's and just couldn't do that for a dd, it drew way too much attention.

Today I had two 16" resonators installed and a custom mid pipe made so I could keep the system modular if I ever decide to put it back to the way it was. Now the car sounds perfect to me. Much more quiet when under load. About as loud as it was with MBRP street and stock headers.

Hope this helps some!
