Congrats man. All your patience throughout this only to have your car pooped on, stripes scraped and the interior smelling like ass, this is when I'd lose my shit.

I've been telling you the whole time to be cool, but now is when they should fix all the shit they did and they should fix it fast. No more waiting.
They are supposedly ordering me new stripe(s) and are going to replace them and fix my rear bumper fitment when I bring it in to get the stripes fixed. The bird poop I was able to clean up the remains myself fairly easily.

The interior smell ... I hadn't noticed it when I was looking over the car, it was in the shade and the cabin temp wasn't that hot, plus the A/C had just been running before I got in the car. I wonder what they would've said had I complained about the interior smell LOL. I'm going to give the Chemical Guys spray a shot that Wblv17 mentioned.

before you spray anything, be sure to read the reviews. There are a number of negative reviews such as this :

"I'm a huge fan of the "new car smell" but this really misses the mark. The first time I sprayed it in my car I thought to myself "you should have tested it somewhere else first". I give them a lot of credit, the aroma lasts a long time. I just wish it didnt.

You may be better off just letting the car air out or maybe try baking soda or something that absorbs odor, rather than apply a perfume.

FYI the spray I mention removes orders and not just a perfume. Actually get compliments on how my cars smell new still all the time. Reminder AC must be on high fan speed and on recirc. Works for me. And only takes two sprays on each side. Maybe the leather one would be better for you. But I bet it smells better then sweaty ass smell he has now.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all of your advice. I get that it's a polarizing thing. I'm only thinking of doing the spray if I list the car for private sale.

Just for reference, here is the area on the engine where you would have some part of your VIN etched (driver's side). This is my replacement engine, hence no etching. I blurred out the sticker on the underside, it's a number and barcode that I believe is the serial number of this particular engine/block.

Also, anyone know what sensor (if it even is a sensor) is shown in this pic at the left near where the oil pan meets the block?

You're talking about the one at the collector of the header, I'm talking about the one in the bottom left of the picture near where the plastic oil pan meets the block. Which sensor is that?

EDIT: nevermind, I see what you mean now!

Yup that's the same O2 routing on the coyote motor, and that's a disconnect near the block and oil pan so you can remove the exhaust manifold and not have to unscrew the 02.

Congrats! My interior smell is slowly going away, and the car is running alright so far. I too have put about 65 miles on it. You going to Cars & Coffee this Saturday? I planned on going last month, made plans the Friday before and then a few hours later is when my oil pump died

Also, I guess I feel lucky that I only had to wait 31 days for my car to be fixed.
