Speaking of 964's - here's my Ol' "Ladybug"
I drove her for about 10 years and decided to part ways with her @ the bubble peak . . No regrets
I will presume Ladybug is the Porsha.... :D

Footage of 4 fun fast laps before I got held up in more traffic on the West track 2.2 miles per lap( at the GT350 Track Attack yesterday:

[ame]

This was the 3rd session and is the most fun but I wish we had a 4th one since by then many of us felt comfortable with the track and the lines. The best part is really the afternoon portion... 1st session was a lead-follow and the 2nd session was half of it with an instructor. The 3rd last one is all solo and really got you moving... with point-by passing on the front straight only. Each session was approx 20 mins long. I think a 4th one would have benefited. Maybe the format should be the "learning the lines" lead-follow session start before lunch. And then the 3 sessions after lunch.... that's ample track time IMO

How big was your class? I was lucky with mine only being 5 people (myself included). Plenty of track time

Same here. We only had 5 in our May class. It looks like the later classes were packed.

Should have came the week if the 19th of September. We only had 9 and 1 fell out. Then 8 for the boss.

Although Dave Pericak and the head of powertrain were there the week before.

I was originally scheduled for Sept 14-15 until company matters came up so I had to resched. I still had fun but part of me wanted 1 more full solo session. It would also be cool of we got to do the full combined course but doubt they'll even consider that since the East track houses the other driving school concurrently running.

I was the one who fell out (personal reasons). I hope to reschedule for the spring.
Definitely a must do experience... and share the same GT350 passion with other folks there. UMC is a nice facility.... it shuts down for a 5-month winter break (Nov-Mar).

Do they give you the same color car as the one you have? Seems like most people get the same color as they have at home. You are having fun in utah while a hurricane is rolling through! Hopefully you car is safe at home!

They try to accomodate, but not everyone gets a car that matches their personal vehicle. (And Bossing got my Magnetic with black stripes car, while I had to make do with a red one! )

Nice vid. I'm pretty sure you were the fastest in our group... At least I gave you the point-by! --Sincerely, Traffic.

They ran us in the 350 on east on day one and west in the boss on day 2. While the next 350 ran on the east. They had a full class. Double the people we did. Here are my videos. Apologize for no data and long videos lol

Boss 302 this was the second to last session, I was faster in my last session but got held up severely buy a guy who forgot how to do a point by.
First few laps were to give space to a guy who was put out just in front of me and to warm the tires and brakes a bit.

Final session in 350. Camera either died or overheated.

Donkey Nice!! Wish I did the 2-day but oh well.... maybe next time. ;)

Matt missed my area.... thank goodness but I'm more inland anyway. Had this trip planned like 6weeks ago... definitely fun so far. I did prep the house though in case of high winds... shutters, etc.

Yeah that was strange. I would have taken the red one or any color really but as you know they had our names already affixed on each assigned car.

Thanks again bro! It was cool to hang out with you... Beerhive Pub buddy! And hope we cross paths again, fellow GT350 + Porsche owner. Enjoy Utah!

So I'm at Laguna Seca since this morning to walk the paddock and watch some fast racecars for today's Pirelli World Challenge practice & qualifying sessions. Gonna head up the hill by the corkscrew soon..... :D

Bossing I've been on the fence on whether or not to do the track attack for a few reasons. In a perfect world of course I would go, but I live on the east coast and with travel/hotel it would cost more than an hpde weekend where I would get significantly more track time. Not to mention it would require me to take a few days off work, and I used up all my vacation time for the birth of my daughter. What I'm getting at is, now that I've been signed off to drive solo at HPDE's, is it really worth going to the track attack when I can spend ~$500(with consumables more like $1000, still cheaper than Utah when time off work is considered) for an HPDE weekend and get significantly more time on track?
