I just wanted to sincerely thank everyone for the orders again. The support has been excellent from the M6G Community.

We have recently made a heavy investment in inventory and had to add more pads to our current stock order GLOC is working on. We are getting a pretty good handle on the compound applications for Auto X vs HPDE's. GLOC has been super supportive getting pads to our Customers. They are a small company just like us and we share the same ideals of taking care of Our Customers.

We will keep everyone posted once our current stock order comes in and the dust settles with filling all the orders. We will keep this page updated with the compounds we stock. We have fitments for GT, GT PP and the GT350. We will always have the GS1 on the shelf for all models. The rest will vary depending on combos that work together. We will continue to ramp up the numbers to remove the burden from GLOC. It helps us if you plan a little ahead so everything isn't an emergency. In other words don't think about pads on a Wed for an event Sat. We will work to get it done but we don't like disappointing people. Most of our pads ship in 2-3 days anywhere in the Country. FREE.

Thank you all again.

Tried Pagid but they are hard on rotors. I'm a Hawk fan on the 86 (StopTech ST40s), but will be trying Reybestos ST46s on the '16.

Just installed R10s on the front and R8s on the rear after I wore my stock pads down to just about nothing in the front at the track. Optimum Performance was great about shipping and quick to respond to emails. I would definitely order from them again! I wanted something that would hold up on the track without being too brutal for the occasional street miles. I think this combo should do the trick! I can't wait to get back out on the track.

What compound would you recommend for a very experienced driver running stock tires at Sebring? Do you have those in stock? I need a front set for the all day open track Chin event on 9/16.

Thanks a pile.

How bad is the cold performance on the G12? Is it sketchy to drive these to an event and back?

Based on my experience with Carbotech's XP12, which the G-loc R12 corresponds to, no.

In a little more detail, I drove on an XP12/XP10 combination all last winter (NJ) without noticing any truly significant loss of cold bite - a little soft on the first stop with temperatures around 20°F was all. That my car still has the little 12.4" front brakes may have helped a little, but I don't think by a whole lot. I never bothered to block off the cooling ducts.

Jim, I order every week, so I stock R8-12, R18 for the PP Mustang. I used to recommend R10's but gtorpedo has proven that may not be enough on RE-11's. Where Brent Dalton runs an R12 (Carbotech's Version) on R7's, steveespo runs R18 on the same R7 Tire.

I would suggest R10's which would work better than the OEM pad but I honestly think you may be able to use an R12, the issue becomes balance with the OEM rear PFC Pad on kinda small brakes. As I attempted to illustrate above it varies with the driver. I have R10's left as I write this. We have found that brake pad orders all come at once. Every reorder is adding more of the same numbers. We keep about $6K on the shelf and that's for only 3 models, S550/Shelby and Focus RS. Anything I do not have I usually get within a week. The reason I keep increasing the levels is because G-LOC has exploded this summer. I do my best to get my orders in so I catch what ever compound batch they are running. Danny and Chris have been running balls to the wall making pads.

To balance the Front and Rear Bias typically you would do R10 F/R8 R or R12 F /R10 R. We also have customers that run both Auto X and Track Days who run R8's F & R, plus they leave the pads in for Daily Driving. We also have customers who run R8's F&R and swap the fronts to R12's (Mustangs are nose heavy so put all the pad up front) for track days.

Maybe some of the other guys can chime in. R10's will get you through a Sebring weekend on the P-Zeros without issue, I just have a feeling with your experience level (lots of braking) R12's may hold up a little better. The operating range is close, R12's have a higher temp window. If you go R12's you need to balance the rears.

How bad is the cold performance on the G12? Is it sketchy to drive these to an event and back?
Not at all they may make some race car brake noises depending on the rotor surface but you should have no issues swapping them in before driving to the track event. They still have a fairly low starting temp. of 200F so they do not need a ton of temp to work.

Based on my experience with Carbotech's XP12, which the G-loc R12 corresponds to, no.

I recently ran the 12/10 combo on RE71Rs which are a lot stickier than RE11Rs and was very pleased with the pads. Drove the setup quite hard ;)

I run them on the street in the summer; no issues!
Ditto. I've ran the 12/10 combo with 295 Hoosier R7's with aero at COTA, Road Atlanta, and RPM without issue. As far as street driving, I drove the car the 750 miles to COTA(and another 750 home) on stock tires and the 12/10 pads without issue. I also run them with 275 RE71R's at the AutoX and they work better than OEM. They will sequel like a pig driving around the street. :D I normally put stock back on after events though.
