Does anyone have an issue with the boot that attaches to the handbrake? Specifically, right before the handle. There is nothing to keep it in place and it just pulls back a bit and looks like crap.

My 2017's engine was replaced under warranty. New engine is definitely Gen 2, I checked sticker. It doesn't burn oil like the original but has some very noticeable piston slap until it warms up. Do others have Gen 2 piston slap? Would you push back on Ford?

Curious if others have the same issue and if anyone knows how to fix it. Where the boot meets the handle there is nothing holding the end of the boot onto the handle. Doesn't fit that snugly so it doesn't stay against the handle. Thoughts?

Just got engine replaced in my 2017. Been babying it for 600mi so far. And, have been warming it up for 15" before driving off and them letting oil get to 170ish before driving 'normal'. Curious if 170 is a good target.
