Yup, Iām thinking of keeping my 2019 Bullitt for at least 25 years and 500,000 miles. Aside from maintaining the crap Out of it, what else should i plan for? How long will the electronics last? Should I put few of those fancy screens on the shelf? A set of magnaride shocks?
āYes, I know this is...
Just curious if anyone makes a nicer then stock underhood insulator. Nothing wrong with the stock one, but Iāve seen nicer ones for earlier generations.
Am planning on removing my Powered by Ford covers to paint them, but just wanted to check to make sure the hardware wasnāt holding anything important in place. Any surprises when I remove them? Anything to watch for?
My underhood insulator got a rip in it. So I approached my local dealer to get a replacement. He found two different part numbers, a cheaper one for less then $200 Canadian, and one that matched my VIN number that was almost $700 Canadian. The basic one seems to have the following part number...
So, it turns out, at least on my 2019, that if you spray window cleaner (Stoner Invisible Glass in this case), onto the lens in front of the gages, itās open up top, and some leaks through to the back side of the lens. Not onto the tft display itself, just onto the backside of the lens covering...
I drive my Bullitt a lot. 3000 miles a month easily. Often more. I burned through the original Michelin's quickly. And am now hunting for a long lasting, good wet performance all season tire. I'm ok with losing a few tenths off the skidpad. Wouldn't mind if it didnt tramline as much either. Nice...
I've never been a huge fan of the Bullitt wheels On this generation. I think Ford did it much better on the earlier versions. Seeing as how I am not looking at buying new tires right now, I was wondering if there was a 19 inch version of something that looks close to an old Torq Thrust. Lots of...
Hi Folks.
Iām loving my Bullitt so much that Iāve decided to get a Ford extended warranty for it. However, Iām not looking to pay full list. The dealer I bought it from said effectively there was no margin in warranties and they would only sell it to me at full list. Whatever.
Anyhow, Iām...
Looking to order snow tires for my Bullitt, and as I have those big Brembos up front, nothing less then 19s will fit. On top of that, the idea of running 275's in the back in Canada seems less then the ideal solution.
So what are you guys running, and how well have they worked? Any prefererance...
As mine is a year round daily driver, I've starting thinking about snow tires. Usually, I'd just go down a couple of sizes, and use the 18 inch rim from the regular GT or EcoBoost. However, as we have those bloody big Brembos, that won't work. So, do I just use the 19's and try to get 19 inch...
I do realize that Ford put a heck of a lot of value into our cars. The Coyote is a hell of an engine. Not too long ago, it would have been serious, big dollar exotic car stuff. The suspension, the structure, etc. Is really solid and basically well designed. Magnaride is magic.
However, driving...
Yes, I did search first. :)
My apologies if this had been discussed somewhere first, but I was curious to know what kind of clutch life I should expect from my Bullitt. I know there are about a million variables that can effect it, but I'm curious to see how other folks have done.
Thanks!
In less then 2 months, Iāve put 7000 miles on my new Bullitt. Itās mostly been an absolute blast. But like with all cars, there are positives and negatives. So far for me they are:
Positives:
Coyote is a fantastic engine.
Silly amounts of power. Insane how the engine just keeps getting stronger...
Hi Gents.
My brand new Bullitt is awaiting me at the Ford dealer right now. As saddened as I am about trading in my beloved Challenger RT, I have to say this is the most excited I have ever been to pick up a new car. Pics to follow!
