  1. How many of you with the 6 speed auto down shift to most stops?

I have aftermarket louder exhaust and I always pull the shifter to S and usually apply the paddles to downshift more aggressively than the default. I usually pull to 2nd gear once I’m below 45 and carefully brake and then pull to 1st after 25 mph in town approaching a red light to get all the...
  2. Can anyone recommend which air filter replacement to get for the power pack 2 cold air intake?

Looking online I think it’s the same size as the GT350 air filter. The ones I see on the popular parts stores are “washable.” Would I be better off sticking with a paper cone? Best place to buy? Thanks
  3. Still loving my 2015, test drove a 2021 today, question about engine braking

In my 6 speed auto I am driving at 0 to 45 mph and 45 to 0 mph 95% of the time. When I put it in S it goes down to 4th and then I can paddle once to 3rd and then again to 2nd coming to a slow or stop and to 1st for complete stop for extra crackles and pops. When I was experimenting during the...
  4. I'm considering getting the Roush phase 2 super charger for my 2015 GT automatic vs buying a gt500 or hellcat.

I work from home so I don't drive that much and most of my fun is 0 - 45 mph. This seems like a fairly cost effective way to increase fun without a massive increase to expense. Anyone add on this kit to a 2015-2017 and have regrets? gas mileage is no concern as I am only on the highway 1 day...
  5. Is it common for the 2nd gen coyote to make a kind of suddenly moderately loud click when the engine is shut off?

I just figured that was normal because it has done that ever single time since I got it, but my step dad was helping me change the oil awhile back and he seemed surprised or concerned about it, but he is a Chevy guy.
  6. Anyone have a fantasy scenario for using your Mustang's potential?

I live in the Midwest so mine is that I am driving down a nearby country road and I see a tornado approaching and trying to out run it.
  7. Seeking advice on minimum gear required to do in car video production

I can borrow an older model GoPro and whatever it comes with in the box. I am curious about what mounts are used to record the forward view out the car, the drive by view form outside (some kind of small tripod?) and the mount to record the driver and the one that hooks to outside of the car...
  8. Mustang Boi

I’m sure this will help the brand 🤔
  9. Of those with the auto, how many of you downshift through the gears at every stop just to make noise?

I do this except for maybe the first couple of minutes on a cold winter day to let it warm up a bit first. If time timing is right I'll even put it into 1st at 25 mph to get the crackles. I do it so much the brakes barely get used.
  10. Kansas WTB 1, 2 or 3 2015 factory 20 inch wheels

I hit a curb and one wheel broke and couple others have scratches.
  11. Annoyned by dealership refusing a test drive

So I have used a local dealership to do work on my car twice. The first time they put on the exahust and the second time the ford performance power pack 2. I have been considering upgrading to the 3.55 gears and have been waiting and waiting for them to get a 2015-2017 auto with that factory...
  12. What exactly determined if the exhaust crackles when slowing down and shifting to 1st?

2015 GT auto... So in my experience the engine has two phases after a down shift, a brief period of sort of continuing on, but less power and then moving to actual engine braking. Maybe something for emissions? But for the question at hand, when slowing down for a stop it seems the sweet spot...
  13. Best way to get exhaust pops? 2015-2017

This is for the 6 speed auto. I find the only way to reliably get them is to downshift from 2 to 1 at 25 mph while already in engine braking mode (rev hang has stopped). Using just S mode and slowing down every once in awhile you hear them as it goes from 3 to 2 by itself without paddles.
  14. List a time when your Mustang really came through for you

I recently had the power pack 2 put on my 2015 GT and during the same weekend brand new all season performance tires. I have really enjoyed the boost from 3K to 4K and continue to enjoy my Roush axel back + x pipe. Anyway during the entire winter I have had to baby the throttle due to worn out...
  15. Question about TPSMs

I have a 2015 GT with factory 20 inch wheels and original tires. They are summer tires and I want all season tires. I am thinking about getting Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ Tires 255/35R20 questions: will these fit? what tire pressure sensor modules should I get? will the shop know how to...
  16. Need advice in tire selection 2015 GT 20 inch

Good day, Firstly, my GT has the factory 20 inch wheels and I believe the factory summer tires which have some wear. Maybe 16k miles at this point. I live where summer is 100 degrees and winter is freezing. I have a second car for inclement weather. Questions: Is anyone aware of a...
  17. Tell me about your joy rides.

I confess, I recently got an x-pipe / Roush exhaust, but even prior to that often at night after work I take my 2015 GT out to rip around town near my house. I have set area that I like to drive in near my house and I frown if I approach an intersection and the light does not turn red...
  18. What is your cost per day?

I have a 4 year payment set up and if I don’t drive the car the payment and insurance is right at $20 per day whether it’s too cold to drive or not for my used 2015 GT premium. Gas and maintenance is extra. Sometimes I sit in the car to listen to the shaker sound system for awhile to try and...
  19. What kind of tires are pirelli p zero 99y?

Are these considered all season or summer? I have been driving with them in 25-40 degree with no issues so far and I won’t drive it in wet conditions. I just can’t accelerate hard at all from a stop when it’s that cold I notice. Thanks.
