  1. MSR Cresson in DFW Today

Glad you had a good time! Been running with Rick for years, and will be back out there at their November event. Several of us Mustangs run in Yellow & Red.
  2. Problem with Steeda dual rate springs.

Just guessing that something is not seated correctly. The strut nut is always the first culprit. Steeda can walk you through checking it. I replaced my strut mount with camber plates. I THINK it will only go one way, and making sure it is seated is what I was referring to. I would expect the...
  3. Problem with Steeda dual rate springs.

Bobombo, I have had these dual rate springs for a couple years, and I personally had trouble getting the top strut nut torqued. Work with Steeda on your issue - I had some various problems with my setup, and they were great to work with, and will take care of you. (Look up older posts by me...
  4. Advancetrac issue

Probably a better way to share this, but see the plug in a picture on a different thread (look at post #2): https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/dyno-plug.120607/ I do not know if one side of the dyno plug simply connects to ground (but is a good guess). It is just a short circuit, so when...
  5. Advancetrac issue

    You're welcome! :like:
  6. Advancetrac issue

Good question. You can turn it on and off at any time. You can even do it in just the “key on” state. Both traction icons come on the display to show they are disabled. So I do it once at the track, and it remembers the disabled setting as I stop and start the car for each session. If you do...
  7. Advancetrac issue

Agree with the posts above. The plug is a short that opens the circuit when you remove it. So, I wired in a simple toggle switch to this plug and have it in the sunglasses/change compartment under the light switch. I flip the switch to disable all the Advance Trac and Traction control, and I...
  8. Steeda's New Dual Rate Ultimate Handling Springs - (Track Proven Winner!!!)

Appreciate the tip, I will keep thinking about it. Yeah, I thought about weather, etc, but I think it is something else. I thought my 7 weekend tires were aging out (2 yrs of use) late last year, but with new rubber and not-too-cold temps, I was still too far off. Some bit could be ME, but I...
  9. Steeda's New Dual Rate Ultimate Handling Springs - (Track Proven Winner!!!)

Thanks @Performance nut, looking forward to getting back down to COTA! Thanks @Roadway 5.0! Definitely set it after lowering the car, was running NT01's. I do not have the bumpsteer kit, these springs lower about 3/4", and I have not felt anything weird. Was something I was thinking about...
  10. Steeda's New Dual Rate Ultimate Handling Springs - (Track Proven Winner!!!)

@SteedaTech Thanks again for the stickers that work well with a Blue car! As promised, here are a couple of pics from last weekend at MSR Cresson. I tried to pick one showing the Dual-rate springs (& adjustables & anti-roll bars) doing their thing. This was my first weekend on the Conti...
  11. 2018 GT PP2 Rear Differential Overheating Issue

There's an older thread on this topic pre-PP2, and seems like the same points. My personal experience: - Changed to BG 75W-140 from Optimum Performance (also their MT-82 oil...) - Added wrap to the exhaust (I started from the muffler end, and didn't get as far past the diff as I meant to...
  12. Steeda stands behind their Suspension Parts

Longer post than I would like, but wanted to share with everyone my experience with Steeda and their suspension components. Bottom line is that they have done a great job standing behind their products! As you can see in my signature below, I have self-installed a bunch of Steeda parts to...
  13. PFC brake pads - interest thread

I'm in! Would like PFC-01's if possible, PFC-11's would be OK as a backup for the FRONT. PFC-08's for REAR. TennTex - 2 sets - PFC-01 (PFC-11 backup) FRONT TennTex - 2 sets - PFC-03 REAR
  14. I need tow hooks

It is in the first row of open hexagons in the lower grille. I hope that is what you are asking...
  15. I need tow hooks

Yes, was a pain. I went through a couple bits. Not the best t start with, and hit them with a file several times to keep them cutting. Just took time.
  16. I need tow hooks

I got the center-mount option for the ZL-1 hook. Had to remove front cover, and the bumper itself to drill for center mount. I did not want to torque anything and generally have confidence in the install. Couple pix for reference.
  17. PP brake pad temp range?

Quick weigh-in here with my 2 cents on PP pads... - I would "kill" to get some PFC-01's for the PP brakes, or even the PFC-11's that replaced it. I ran these on my S197 w/ StopTech brakes - best I've ever ran. - Thanks to DickR for the comment on the guess on the Ford factory PP compound...
  18. CJ Pony Parts Forum Discount Code

Looking to add a cat-back exhaust. Can I get a discount code please? Thanks for all the great videos on your site!
  19. Pass through dimensions

Just happened across this post today... I removed my rear seats for track duty, and am looking to cover this opening without spending $hundreds on the seat deletes. SO, I happen to have measured this and the "max" dimensions are about 42" x 18". (What I need to locate to mount and cover the...
  20. Steeda Forum Discount code?

Looking to purchase jacking rails (should've already done so) ahead of next steps. Can yo send me the code? Thanks!
