  1. Missing the cold start bark of the Voodoo

Today I spent 5-10 minutes on YouTube listening to the cold start bark of the Voodoo and revving of that glorious engine to redline. I’m missing that sound since I traded in my GT350 for a C7 Grand Sport (power train warranty was nearly up and primary use the car for the track)
  2. New York SOLD ALL ITEMS GT350 Front & Rear Factory Dark Grey Calipers, Front Pads, Rotors

2017 GT350 take off Front and Rear Calipers excellent condition (only ~1000 miles before they were taken off to switch to red R) - they have been vacuum sealed since purchase in 2017 with the intent to use as spares for my track car. Never did use them - they do not have pads, bleeder...

EDITED 6/22 - SOLD the rims, EDITED 6/21 - Sale pending on the rims. Tires are sold EDITED 5/29 - Sale of Nitto tires pending. Forgeline rims remain for sale. Price for rims = $3300 EDITED 5/9 - So the way I wrote the original post to describe the offset is confusing so I list the offset...
  4. 4-1/2 yrs of fun but have changed it up

After 4-1/2 years of an excellent ownership experience I traded in Shelby for a great deal on a leftover C7 Grand Sport manual. Purchased Shelby in September 2015 and she was delivered in December. Main intent for the GT350 was 90% cruise and 10% track but over the last few years the ratio...

  6. Magnetic Shock fluid color? Is it leaking?

While prepping for my next track day I found some oil being flung around my right rear wheel. Possibly it is from the differential vent tube or maybe a leaking magnetic shock. I know for sure it is NOT a cracked CV boot after inspecting both inside and outside boot. Question, if my right rear...
  7. 3+ degrees front camb

My car has become predominantly a track toy and is driven to and from the track (typically 150 miles one way). Need feedback regarding tire wear or poor drivability on streets from anyone who has more than 3 degrees of front camber and drives it to and from the track please. Currently have 2.5...
  8. Watkins Glen - which side gets more tire abuse?

Heading to an HPDE weekend at Watkins Glen and looking for advice from those who've been there on which side gets more tire abuse, driver or passenger side? Trying to extend the life of my tires so want to shift them as needed to even out wear. Right now the driver's side is more worn.
  9. Good deal on Motorcraft 5W-50

Anyone have a line on a good deal for a case of Ford Motorcraft 5W-50 oil? Really want to continue using this oil for warranty purposes and have had good luck with it thus far. $133/case is the cheapest I've found so far. Awhile back there was a deal at $70/case but am fin with paying $100...
  10. Add on GPS

Just picked up a Dual SkyPro XGPS160 and tested its accuracy and precision. Figured I'd share the results. The large meandering track is the Apple device GPS showing the route I walked in my house from kitchen to the front door. If you notice it puts me in the street and in the neighbors house...
  11. Cheating on Shelby

Winter off season has me exploring other rides. Looking at sports cars like a 981 GTS and 718 Cayman S. I think it is the lack of driving her on the track that has me looking at the others. Am I the only one with this problem or do others having a wandering eye in the off season?
  12. Tracking: replace front pads = replace rear

So it looks like I have more than enough life on my rear pads so only planning to change front before a weekend of track fun. Good idea or no?
  13. Rotor Min Thickness for Replacement

Anyone have access to the rotor thickness value when Ford recommends replacing the brake rotors? Didn't see anything in the Supplement. No cracks in mine, 6800 miles and (4) track days. I'll be getting new pads but believe I can get more life from the rotors.
  14. Long Island OBI public service announcement

If going to OBI cars and coffee make sure your vehicle has front plates and nothing else you could get dinged with. State troopers had about 10 cars around with a checkpoint giving out tickets for anything they could find. Been driving the car for almost 2 years but I got hit with a front...
  15. Posting pics then text then more pics

Question, how do you create a post that has text creating breaks in between pictures (see format example below)? "Text text text" Picture "Text text text" Picture
  16. Front splitter (4) vertical screws and j-clip part #'s

  17. First mods to the '18 design

Hypothetically I've taken delivery of a new '18 GT. Here's my list of upgrades for a street friendly build to make it mine: 1) replace the hood. Maybe something like the Anderson composite carbon. I like the flat profile with recesses finned louvers. Should complement the lower front end. 2)...
  18. SCCA Autocrossing- Time to take it up a notch

So after a season of autocrossing I've decided to get a little more serious. I run a GT350 in AS class and am planning on buying a set of factory spec rims with the exception that SCCA allows for a change in offset of up to 7mm. Question is should I max the rim offset front and rear or...
  19. iPhone not downloading contacts

Searched for topics relating to the below issue but didn't find anything specific. My Sync 3 pairing to the IPhone works fine for music but my contacts have disappeared. When first delivered last year it worked great. Not sure when the contacts disappeared but I'd say maybe the last 3 months...
  20. Engine block corrosion

Anyone know if the aluminum engine block has some sort of corrosion protection from the factory? I don't believe so because mine is developing areas of white aluminum oxide. Anyone use any sort of protectant or polish for the front part of the engine block (the part seen when the hood is up)?
