iPhone not downloading contacts

Searched for topics relating to the below issue but didn't find anything specific.

My Sync 3 pairing to the IPhone works fine for music but my contacts have disappeared. When first delivered last year it worked great. Not sure when the contacts disappeared but I'd say maybe the last 3 months.

What I've done so far that hasn't worked:
- deleted device from the car and iPhone and re-paired. Contacts still won't download
- ensured the Bluetooth options on iPhone allow syncing.
- auto-download option in Sync 3 turned on. Also tried manual download. Not working.

Anybody have a similar issue or any suggestions???

Hey TDC,

I recommend resetting the module and then pair the phone back with a clean connection. Once the phone is paired, download the contacts again. To perform the reset: Select radio > Hold the power button + the right-seek button at the same time for up to 5 seconds.

I sent a PM. I am convinced my phone is the problem since my wife's IPhone 6s works perfectly with my car. I will compare the settings one by one.
