So my AC finally went kaput like everyone elseās. So I did the regular checks, fuses, relays ect. So I decided to jumper the AC clutch to engage it through the relay. When I did so the motor heavily bogged down and almost stalled out. Any ideas? Bad compressor?
Car randomly sputtered out and died and wonāt start. Checked fuses and relays all are good. I unplugged the fuel pump plug and checked for voltage. All wires are getting power if cranking, or with accessory mode on except 1. Is that normal? Iām assuming the plug is 1 wire always getting voltage...
So im wondering what the normal timing for E85 is? my car is on a E85 tune by Tricky and is seeing 30-32.3 degrees of timing at Wot. Is that normal? Also the fuel is tested at E80
So ive got a 2017 mustang with a ported 18 mani, gutted cats, exhaust dumps, SR Performance Xpipe, Roush CAI and E85 (E80) tuned by Tricky. I sent him a datalog and he said im seeing some knock in 3rd. Decided to take another log and look myself and im seeing less that 1 degree of knock right as...
So Ive recently developed a problem where very intermittently while driving with the AC the engine will violently shutter and bog, then the AC blows hot. Turn off the AC and back on and itās blowing cold again. Any ideas Iām worriedš
So Iām looking at doing a full NA build. Ported CJ, Innovators west crank pulley, MHS NAR cams, RPG VCT lockout, MHS/PAC valve springs and retainers, and Accufab secondary chains. Is there anything Iām missing? Is there a good upgrade for timing chain tensioners and primary chains?
Selling my Roush axle backs, they sounded great but Iām going full racecar so I decided to run dumps. Asking $600 OBO new they are $840+tax. Local pickup only will drive up to 50 miles
Hi all I just had my new VMS wheels mounted on the car. Specs are 18x9.5 +40 offset in the front 17x10 +54 offset rear. Tires are nitto nt555 G2s all the way around. I have a horrible shake at about 90mph and it gets worse at higher speeds. I had the balance rechecked and all is good. Any ideas?
So I had a random question that I couldnāt find any answer to. Is there any mileage number set for how long a mildly driven built motor (rods and pistons) would last? Would love to do built motor+boost just for reliability and peace of mind but the car is driven a LOT
Hey all sorry if itās been beaten to death but I canāt find an answer. Iāve got a set of VMS 17x10 wheels coming in for the rear but I DD the car 20k miles a year. I wanna put a street tire on them any ideas? I was thinking a Nitto Nt555 G2 285/40R17. Do you think that will work or?
