Hi all I just had my new VMS wheels mounted on the car. Specs are 18x9.5 +40 offset in the front 17x10 +54 offset rear. Tires are nitto nt555 G2s all the way around. I have a horrible shake at about 90mph and it gets worse at higher speeds. I had the balance rechecked and all is good. Any ideas?

Start small and work your way up the food chain. Two possibilities....If the wheels are aftermarket and not hub centric, it may cause a slight vibration. The addition of a hub centric ring will help eliminate vibration issue at relatively low price.

You might also consider having the assemblies road force balanced. Your local Discount Tire store location has that balancing equipment in house and can diagnose vibration issues for you.

Okay I’m betting it’s the hub then. I can’t seem to find a direct answer on google, any idea the hub size on our cars? I’m seeing 70.3 and 70.5

Was gonna say the same thing. If you have aftermarket wheels get hub centric rings for them.

Gotcha ordering them now lol. I thought something was screwed, good to know it’s likely just a simple fix. Thanks!

If you have any spare wheels with tires, swap one corner out at a time and test.
