One of the guys in our Mustang Club (Front Range Mustang Club, Denver) put a blower on his 1999 Shinoda (2 valve engine). Guess it ran pretty good for several of years but finally blew up. He now has a Terminator motor installed and needs some help. I don't want to drive anyone crazy but some...
I wanted to thank you guys that have provided great tech info on this site. Way to much to list. Your posts helped many of us with what is basically a race car in street trim. I had a 17 and then a 19. Both great cars. Recently sold the 19.
To all the guys that went nuts with what has turned...
It's good to see the majority of people on this site don't panic like they did before if someone has a problem. Not sure if it is a natural process where early on it was caused by the web providing instant access to information previously difficult to hear. I personally had a problem with my 17...
Has anyone seen a code fault for a Power Steering Control Module internal electronic failure? A car friend told me his friends 2017R got this code while on the track. Only other information is the R has been heavily modified for track use.
Not sure how you can modify an R to cause this fault...
We had a couple of 60 degree days in December so the Shelby was out for a nice drive. Now January and February may not be so kind.
Who else got out in December?
I see some want to put there Shelby up all winter. Have you ever seen an engine on the engine stand waiting to be installed. Oil stays on parts for a while but eventually slides off the moving parts and ends up in the oil pan. I was very surprised to see what happened when we rebuilt a BOSS 302...
We had the oil changed, 19B34 program replacement on the shifter was completed and they replace a transmission temp sensor. I think this shifter is a little more precise.
Talked with the service manager before scheduling service. He assigned an experienced service advisor and he had a...
No one gets hurt, so it's kind of funny seeing this Vette going for it with a Mustang and over doing it just a bit.

Good track day at HPR (Colorado) today. It was interesting driving my 19, the tires change the track experience a lot. I had a great time chasing a Z06 and a Z28. The Z28 had a bigger engine and the Z06 was supercharged. So they would pull a way a little on the straight. Eventually passed the...
On our outing today we stopped to look at some property. My wife being the helpful type said "just back in to the gate" and being successfully married for 45 I years I did just that. All was good until it came time to leave. The ground was very dry and sandy and the Shelby was now sitting with...
Some of you may have seen our post "Steps for Loading SYNC and MAP updates". We took the Shelby out for a ride today and wanted to report back on some of the changes to the MAP display. SYNC has changed but I wasn't able to pay attention to SYNC while driving. For now all I can say is SYNC has a...
With COVID interfering with daily activities we have been taking our Shelby out for more longer rides.
Here is a picture taken at a stop on our ride Wednesday. For anyone that knows the area, this is on the road out of Morrison Colorado heading west.
We purchased this 2019 in January of 2020. It now has 1789 miles, not bad with COVID going on and seems to run great. Today we drove from just south of Denver up to Estes Part and took a couple of pictures with the Shelby parked next to one of the small lakes. On the way up I drove on the...
With COVID causing us to stay home a lot, I'm now so bored that I typed up the following. Even if you don't want to update your SYNC software and/or your car's MAP data, I'm hoping this might be somewhat helpful at some point. Anyway I have plenty of time so why not?
Notice: Below I mention...
