Both are GTs with boltons.
I like Steeda weight reduction package.
This thread was inspired by multi-page and very popular https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/track-time-limited-due-to-high-cht.166499/ . I went through all 54 (as of now) pages and it was very time consuming.
Here's another thread...
I've had some loud droning exhaust, then for years was having active valve exhaust.
Since a family member had to daily the mustang I've reverted to stock exhaust for a year.
Now it is time to think of aftermarket exhaust again. One option is just to reinstall my active Varex
cat-back. But then...
11 engines that claim to go more than 500,000 miles without a problem.
Not sure of the credibility of the article, but nice to see coyote among them.

Xforce 3" Stainless Cat-Back Exhaust Varex Mufflers Ford Mustang GT 2015-1017
Active exhaust gets quiet/loud based on your input. Direct bolt on. Installs
into standard mounting points.
What's included:
- X-pipe / resonator
- resonator to muffler pipes
- mufflers with valves/motors
- Dual 4″...
I'd like to try a combination of a stock exhaust with GT500 mufflers. The setup that was promoted here a few times and I also watched (and liked) some youtube clips with one. GT500 mufflers are supposed to be from '11-'12 IIRC.
My goal is to be just a tad louder than stock but not much more...
All you need is scissors, pipe wrap from home depot and your choice of cover material. In my case it was stiff enough foil coveted foamy thingy I happened to have at home. It has to be flexible.
a) cut cover material to the shape of the airbox top. (several minutes)
b) cut pipe wrap alongside...
I've hit rev limiter in my GT on several occasions and realize engine sound does not have any special "time to shift" signs\indications for me. In fact it feels like red line could be 500-1000 higher and the car would only bennefit from that.
I'd like a shift light that would not draw wrong...
Please check if your afr gauge behaving this way or not?
Constant load, constant freeway speed, but the gauge is wandering in 13.5 - 14.5 range all the time.
This does not cause any isdues. But I'm curious if this might be related to engine knock with ford poer pack my car experiences. Like...
Sorry for bringing this topic up again, but I have this hypothesis that power pack 2 might be detonating at some cars due to defective OEM intake manifolds that let some air in due to cracks. I remember a topic here at the forum on this issue.
My PP2 detonated no matter what I tried and at the...
Red light. My GT and Elantra stay next to each other at the red light. Once it turns green we will start moving straight onto a long straight two lane freeway entrance ramp that merges into a single lane right before merging into freeway.
I was not in a racing mood, but for some reason felt I...
I converted to squared and also choose ohtsu as a cost saving measure to absorb wheel change cost.
Coming from pirellis I find ohtsus far superior to pzeros as daily driving tires.
Also I figured fp8000 are actually falken fk452 which I had back in time on my other car as dd tires.
Anyone...
On the market for another car during oncoming year. There's a lot of DI engines percentage wise. Like almost all Mazda and Subaru lineup.
I owned DI car in the past and that experience did not go really well. I got rid of that car and would like to avoid having one ever again.
Unfortunately...
Really want to swap heavy oem staggered for squared lightweights.
But not sure anyone needs my oems. So that sort of blocks the whole deal.
What are you doint with oem wheels?
I've noticed pretty high volume of complaints on power pack 2 and pnging. At the same time pp3 owners have much less complaints.
Is it because pp3 does not change much in lower rpms or any other reasons?
I have zero experience with FI and wonder if some resource on the internet or useful thread at this forum exists that summarizes available options and pros and cons?
