Dont forget the pricing on these parts have been lowered.
$289 for the OR pipe and $189 for the Resonator Y pipe delete.
Our car is going back together and we will have more videos and sound clips to show.
If we can be of any help just give us a call.
JJ
Yes the Airaid can be had for much less then you stated. We offer the best pricing around on that CAI as well as superior tuning for that combination.
The Airaid is proven to be of the highest quality of all the CAI's and very well thought out. IMHO.
If we can be of any help please feel free...
Sorry, not ego.... its called pride. :first:
To this day we are very proud of something nobody else has ever done and thats no different then another record we hold and thats with our Ford Lightning. Its the only truck that has ever run a 10 second time with the stock supercharger no nitrous...
The vehicles alternator output is computer controlled. There is nothing wrong with your car.
There are several tables for commanded voltage and some of them are in the 12.3 range or so during normal driving.

My choice would be to test them back to back with a stock tune, that way you can take the variable of a "tune" out of the equation, unless you will be posting the data log from each tune/run. I would still log the runs even if your on the stock tune.
Then after your done comparing them on the...
For the Airaid testing we used our "torque tune" which brings in the boost quicker and holds it for longer but never exceeds 21lbs. The same tune as used on the stock CAI setup and on the Airaid CAI as you can see in the original post I made here. The only difference was the 10 minutes it took...
When you do your track testing this weekend will you be swapping out from the Airaid to the JLT same tune etc... ? Also will you be logging each run for comparison? More clearly what will be your testing procedure?
JJ
I do so far because nothing else I have seen offers more then an open element air filter under the hood or stuffed in the fender.
I've been dealing with forced induction applications for 15 years and the one thing that I want more then anything else is cooler IAT1 temps. The system that...
No matter how big the opening of a funnel or its capacity it is still up to the smallest point at the end of the funnel that determines its flow. You can get as creative as you want but the final size at the end, where the turbo opening is determines the overall ability for any CAI to flow. You...
No crackle at all, its a very nice setup going down the road from inside and outside the car. Mellow at idle but you can still hear the turbo.
Once our car is back together (waiting on the Mcleod clutch) we will do several video's of how it sounds with the stock resonator and our Y pipe...
Whatever exhaust you decide to go with make sure you team it up with our OR Downpipe. At $289 its the least expensive of all the downpipes out there and has the same if not better quality of others. SS with flex joint and modular design in case you want to use the stock resonator/catback or go...
You shouldnt have to "tune" for each individual CAI that comes out on the market. There is no MAF to factor into the equation. Of course if you can optimize what the CAI does you might be able squeak out a bit more power but the real power will come from I/C upgrades and such.
We will be doing...
For those that missed this thread earlier from November!!
Also notice the results are from run number 19 (stock CAI) to run number 20 (Airaid CAI). Truly back to back dyno testing.
JJ
Our first batch of 10 sold out quicker then we thought, we will have more in stock on Monday of next week.
Call to reserve yours!!!
The lowest priced modular designed off road downpipe on the market with quality thats second to none!!! $289!!! I cant believe we can sell it that low...
Good info thanks.
We were not seeing that in our car at all. Fuel pressure was solid even at 27psi, the highest we tuned for.
Hope you get it figured out.
JJ
It sounds stupid for sure but thats what can happen. Once the MAF is failed the computer goes to the Load with failed MAF table and that table is usually lower load and in lower load is usually more spark. Lightnings blow up because of this exact stock tune feature.
JJ
In a MAF car when the MAF is considered failed by the computer it then defaults to fuel tables that are leaner and timing tables which have more spark so yes, Ford could very well have a limiter that your hitting that would lean the car out. ( I know the EB is not a MAF car, thats just a...
