I fully agree with this. :like:
The reason many are steering you towards other options is the $100K cost you mentioned. What made the GT350 such a hit is that it was likened to the GT3 at the time for a fraction of the price. But at $100K, it's not worth it to us US buyers on the other side of...
What I found interesting is the brochure statement "Available Carbon Fiber Wheels" listed for the GT350. If I'm reading that right, it seems to imply the normal MY19 GT350 has a carbon fiber wheel option. If so, combined with the Cup2s and new suspension tuning, the gap to the R is reduced even...
I own a Porsche 997 Carrera S and a GT350 Track Pack. Love both cars for different reasons. However, if I could only keep one, it would be the GT350. I really enjoy driving it more, it looks cooler too IMHO and I just can't get enough of that unique Voodoo sound!
BUT, if I had to sell both and...
The Bullit looks cool, but it's pricey and also big (1:12 scale). In addition to the AUTOart GT350R, another upcoming release is the Shelby Supersnake by GT Spirit. I'm probably going to get one of these (as its my color ) and maybe the AUTOart too (in a different color, TY perhaps)...
This is the latest addition to my collection. A 1/10th scale Traxxas RC car; I customized the Mustang GT body to resemble my GT350.
The sucker is fast, advertised to hit 30 mph!
AUTOart is finally releasing a GT350R. It will come in popular colors, such as oxford white, lightning blue, race red, triple yellow and shadow black.

I was just thinking the other day of creating a similar thread. Kudos for starting it.
So many negative posts out there, but what about us happy owners?
My '16 Track Pack turns 2 years old this month and I love it as much as the day I bought it. Is it the perfect car...
I've not seen a GT350 diecast in 1:43 scale in any color, have you? I've just seen 'em in 1:18, 1:24 and 1:64, but even in those sizes, not in Grabber.
This might be the closest you can get if want a diecast in grabber blue.

I'd also go for the '17, given those choices.
Having said that, at this stage in the game (if it were me), I'd wait for the enhanced MY19 GT350. I'd also wait to see what the new GT500 will bring.
Welcome to world of Porsche GT3 waiting lists. Getting one is similar to getting a ceramic stainless steel Rolex Daytona. In other words, the more you've bought in the past, the higher up you'll be on the waiting lists.
Might I suggest you look at a 911 Carrera T. If you're not hard a core a...
Quality on mine is fine. That is what I implied when I said "no complaints" and "fairly well put together".
Is the fit and finish as good as Porsche? No, but it's fine. Paint is very nice and I have no issues with panel gaps (other than the rear, which seems to afflict all GT350s). Reliability...
No complaints from me, I love my GT350. I also own a Porsche 911 C2S (997), but I honestly enjoy driving the Shelby more. Guess maybe I'm lucky in that my GT350 has been fairly well put together.
Insecure? Nah. If you hate plates like that, no worries, you're entitled to your opinion.
In my case, I normally don't even bother with custom plates. But my GT350 is a special car to me and I wanted a way to honor it. I couldn't think of something better than to have a plate with its name. So...
Very nice to see upgrades coming to the GT350, it's been over due.
However, I am perhaps in the minority in that I want to keep my '16 GT350 as all original. My '16 track pack has been perfect for my needs and has been very reliable to date (knocks on wood). Never had the urge to...
I've probably tried 5-6 different license plate frames since getting my car almost 2 years ago.
I went from this:
to this:
But now that I've gotten a custom plate that says GT350-S, having GT350 on the frame seemed redundant.
So I think I've settled on this one:
No such thing as a perfect garage. (For me.)
No matter what car(s) occupy the garage, I know I'll always be thinking of another car at some point. Perfection is an elusive dream.
But I'm quite happy with my garage for now. :)
This is the dirtiest Voodoo engine bay I've seen! C&D are driving the crap out of it. LOL

The blue on the GT500 doesn't look at all like the blue shown on the F150 Raptor. The blue on the truck has a bit of teal to it, as does LB, which isn't something I care for.
But whatever the blue is on the GT500, I LOVE it!!! That might just be my favorite of the Ford blues.
