I'm in the opposite camp compared to most posting here.
I own a 911 Carrera S and my GT350. Of the two, the Porsche is the one I keep thinking of selling.
I simply love my GT350. The interior is spartan, but so are race cars. The fit and finish of my car is more than acceptable for me and I...
AUTOart is making the GT350R in OW w/ blue stripes, it's coming soon. See this link for more pics: https://diecastsociety.com/first-look-autoart-ford-mustang-shelby-gt350r-oxford-white/
What's great about the AUTOart model is that the doors, trunk & hood open and it comes in many different colors.
I thought about that too, but figured the wear on the knob can't be any worse than on the steering wheel. My car is almost 2.5 years old and the wheel material has been holding up so far, hopefully the knob does just as well. And yeah, it does have a great feel, which is nicely matching to the...
For sure. It would be interesting to know the difference in down force of the R wing vs. the '19 wing with gurney flap. You'd think they'd have an option for the front lower lip spoiler to go with the rear gurney flap option for balance.
Thanks for the side by side shot! Velocity Blue and Ford Performance Blue look very similar, almost too similar! For my taste, I'd take Velocity, it looks slightly lighter and more vibrant.
Also, I don't think the Porsche GT2 RS's wing is anything like the 19 GT350's. The Porsche GT2 RS's ducts...
I believe the numbers you're quoting might be for the GT, not the GT350. There are stock GT350 owners who've seen 450-460 hp at the wheels. Here's one example. You can fast forward towards the end for the result.
I agree. My belief is the CF wheels + Cup2 tires are the two biggest factors in the R's superior track capability. That's why I'm quite intrigued that the '19 non-R GT350 maybe getting the CF wheels as an option. If so, the big question will be the aftermarket cost for '15-'18 owners who might...
This is from Car&Driver's 30K mi update. Does anyone else's steering wheel look like this?
"The once warm and fuzzy microsuede steering wheel, soiled over time with hand-care products and sweat, now resembles a beat-up piece of old leather, confirming our suspicions that, when used as a...
It's a '19 for sure. You can tell by the rear spoiler, wheels and brakes.
Now I'd really like to see a '19 GT350 in Ford Performance Blue for a comparison. A blue dreamers line up would be to see DIB, Liquid, Lightning, Grabber, Kona, Velocity and Performance all side by side, from darkest to...
What he said. Very disappointing to see.
Wonder if this kind of stuff happens on the new Ford GT? Noticed in the TSB that the '05-'06 Ford GT could be affected.
