I've got an 8 year extended warranty and plan to keep my car at least that long. Car's been great the last 3 years, if it's still running strong at 8 years, I'll probably keep my GT350 for even longer.
My favorite pic is not the most artistic or having great photography or even the best angle of my car...
...My favorite pic is this one, because it's the first photo I took of my beloved GT350 on the day I bought it, almost 3 years ago. Love at first sight! Still love it as much as the day I...
Shifter rattle is a common issue, some have it, some don't. Dealer would likely replace the entire shifter assembly. But there's an easy fix, see this video:
3) It was two separate issues. The vibration from the shifter was one issue, solved by the replacement of the entire shifter assembly and bezel. (But there's also Auto Fanatic's youtube fix that is far easier to resolve this one.) The second issue was the clicking sound from the left rear...
I don't think I ever seen a less than positive review from a professional media outlet. I feel the C&D long term wrap up was quite balanced, highlighting the pros & cons. I believe for most GT350 owners, the pros greatly outweigh the cons.
I take heart from this article, the car may not be perfect, but 40K hard miles and the Shelby is still running very strong. Same 0-60 time of 4.2 secs when new and at 40K miles, lateral grip improved to 1.03g.
So this is what a well used 40K mi shift knob looks like. :)
Love reading stories like this. Congrats and enjoy your Grabber in good health! :like:
I'm an original '16 Track Pack owner, bought during the first year frenzy of crazy ADMs. Yes, I paid a little over MSRP, but I wanted a DIB w/ white stripes and a Track Pack, not so easy to find (especially...

We Finish 40,000 Miles with the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 and Its Magical V-8
Slightly off topic, but I can't believe the first new Supra MKV hammered for $2.1M. A cool $1M more than the GT500. I'd take a GT500 over the Supra any day!
I'm on the fence.
Depends on the price/ADMs and what the car mags have to say after they test it vs. other benchmark cars. Still too many unknowns about the car. Not so concerned about the HP/Torque numbers, but I am concerned about the weight. Lack of a manual is a real drawback, not sure if...
Very excited with the actual launch of the real car! IMHO, Ford's got another home run!
Hence, I've tuned some of the details of my GT500 liveries and also uploaded the debut car colors in Red Hot, Ford Performance Blue and Iconic Silver. Wish both the GT350 and GT500 were in game though...
That Ford Performance Blue is looking really sharp!
After seeing all these pics of the Carbon Track Pack cars, I wonder how many would get a GT500 without this option? Seems like the majority would go for the whole enchilada (me included)!
Looks awesome! :like:
Love the Red Hot and black stripes. Interesting that the normal GT500 (non Carbon Track Pack) comes with the old GT350 Track Pack spoiler and not the new one from the 2019 GT350. Also, nice to see that the white and black seats from the GT350R concept car have found their...
In anticipation of the 1.14.19 debut, I created a tribute car in Gran Turismo Sport (PS4). If you're playing GT Sport, feel free to download my GT500 Super Snake livery in Ford Performance Blue. :)
Sounds good, I'm sure it will drive good too, but the looks of the new Supra just don't do it for me.
The Supra, RX-7, NSX and 300ZX of the 90's were all beautiful to look at. The current stylists seem to have lost their way. There's not a single new Japanese sport car that has those old lust...
Regarding the key, you'd be surprised, there can be any number of reasons. I once traded in a car and purposely kept one key for sentimental reasons (told the dealer the second key was lost). This was 20 years ago, when keys were simply a metal key. I still have that key, now I wish I had kept...
All this "active" stuff sounds really cool, but sometimes I like things to be simple. For example, if I had my druthers, my active exhaust would always be "on" in loud mode.
Kudos to Ford's engineers though for continuing to push the envelope. :like:
