  1. Tires wearing incorrectly

0 the rear toe? Will still wear when the rear squats, but not as much. Fix the squat deflection and 0 rear toe and you can run obscene amounts a camber with your only issue being that you look stupid. I'm currently at 1.5 or so rear camber and need more for the road coarse.
  2. Tires wearing incorrectly

Again its not the camber's fault for the dead tires. More probably the toe in the rear, combined with the camber, which will eat away at the inside as you drive. Plus when this car squats, the toe deflects drastically, along with some camber and you wear really fast in the rear. Lower control...
  3. PP brake pads

yea, just keep your stockers for the street and properly bed the XP-10's for the track. If you are one of the people who says stockers are good for the track, maybe try the XP-8's, as they are closer to "normal brake" feel.
  4. PP brake pads

At tracks with a lot of long straights, ie VIR, the stock pads lasted me about 4 laps before the onset of heat related fade. With better fluid, 6 laps and they were gone. A tight track like summit point and I would never have an issue. I'll be running a full set of XP-10's at my first day this...
  5. FORD PERFORMANCE TRACK KIT - BMR vs Steeda Springs

When I was spring shopping you had only released the ecoboost version. I haven't gone back to look again... I went linear for the predictability, I don't like progressive springs at the track.
  6. FORD PERFORMANCE TRACK KIT - BMR vs Steeda Springs

I must be really far from them for those shipping rates though. Don't worry BMR, you will get my business, just not for that order.
  7. Want to heel-toe like a champ? Look no further.

We should really be asking what size shoes, and type of shoes as well I guess, so 10/10.5 Narrow is me, so I need that extension from steeda. Some don't with those platypus feet yall have... j/k
  8. FORD PERFORMANCE TRACK KIT - BMR vs Steeda Springs

When I got my linear from steeda, that was all they offered, so maybe it is different. Good to hear that BMR offers a linear option, but their usual 50 bucks or so for shipping usually ruins it for me. I just wish more companies posted their lbs/in rating on their springs so I could cross...
  9. 2015 GT PP track video w/ GT3's and the rest of the Porsche Club

From what I am seeing you still get that loose feeling from the rear? Whether you are feeling it or not, there are the small corrections under power in the video. Is that what you are thinking?
  10. GT/CS vs. GT/PP

Steeda springs, on your stock suspension. The regular progressive rate springs will be stellar with your GTCS, and you won't suffer, corners or otherwise.
  11. So confused - what direction to go for handling - ie: help me spend money!

Alignment kit from steeda and the lower control arm bushing should be good enough for the street. Anything more than that for the track.
  12. FORD PERFORMANCE TRACK KIT - BMR vs Steeda Springs

Are the BMR's linear? If not, find some linear rate springs. The ultralites from steeda are designed for the ecoboost, so the weight of the GT ruins the balance. Do your own research on this, as there aren't too many in this area of modding that aren't going full coilover, and at that...
  13. Want to heel-toe like a champ? Look no further.

If your feet are not wide, you just need to turn them more, or run the steeda cover, and install it to make up the difference. If I do need to move the gas pedal further towards me, I run washers, or spacers from the local (good) hardware store.
  14. What ONE change would you make to base GT suspension?

The lower control arm bushing stops the toe in on suspension compression. Older BMW's did the same thing and it usually leads to snap oversteer in bad situations. My worn ones killed an e36 of mine, combined with cold temps. The mustang has been doing the same in these fridgid temps, and did...
  15. Who said 72 is too old to mod?

When it gets warmer down there you're gonna need an intercooler. Next mod!
  16. Want to heel-toe like a champ? Look no further.

The spacer is a bit of a waste of money, your local hardware store that sells hillman products will sell spacers for each bolt on the gas pedal and you can space it how you want. Currently I don't need spacers, running Carbotech XP-10's front and rear at the track with the Steeda pedal. I have...
  17. What ONE change would you make to base GT suspension?

Steeda linear ultralite springs, rear toe arms and that stupid lower control arm bushing. If money left over, wider tires all around. Basically cause thats what I almost have done already.
  18. IRS Issue/BMR Parts

It could be something loose, and it could be the lash in your driveline, just noisier now because everything is tied together more stiffly.
  19. Matching Springs to Sway Bars

You set up springs first, then shocks to match the springs. Sway bars are after that, but only really an issue when going racing or for the track. You go soft sway for comfort on the street, and stiff if you want to pair with a sticky tire for good handling on the street. Too stiff a sway...
  20. Pittsburgh

There's a CO somewhere near moon twp/ coraopolis as well. Followed him up the hill there one day and passed him in the area a few times since, but never close enough to get a good look. Guiseppe, state college? You still in school? We get up there all the time for the games in the fall...
