I need to update my profile - I have a 2021 now. I also have a problem with the TPMS and get a TPMS fault message/light daily. I tried relearning all 4 wheels and that didnt work, so maybe it is the batteries in one of them as you suggest.
Welp...turns out that the left rear tire had less than 10 lbs of pressure, and the TPMS didn't pick it up. I went to pull the wheel off to check the hub and noticed the tire looked low. Filled it back up and the pulling problem is now gone. Time to get rid of the P Zeros now...
Thanks for all...
haha great point - its closer to 20. I swap out tires and rims for winter. and to your point, they are garbage tires. the backs are basically slicks at this point.
It is a PP so the tires cant go back to front, but your diff comment got me thinking again because it does feel the back end is shifting to the right or maybe some kind of uneven power application.
Long time lurker and very occasional poster here.... I have a 2021 GT/PP with no mods and OEM Pzero tires. Over the past couple of days the car has developed a significant pull to the left when accelerating - both from a slow roll and highway speeds. Also, it feels like the back end is shifting...
Since it is time to take the winters off, and the stock P Zeros are trashed after 15,000 miles, I am upgrading to MPSS all around. I was thinking of going with 285/40 in back and 265/40 up front.
I know they will fit, but are there any other issues I should be thinking about such as the...
Well finally heard back from the dealer. Turns out the rear shock tower broke at the top and so the shock assembly needs replacing. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and a place to vent my frustration.
Well...its Southeast Michigan in winter...haha
It was a pretty harsh crossing but taken slowly. I am still in the 3/36, so I will schedule a visit with the dealer asap.
It is one of those frustrating things that are hard to fix, impossible to ignore, and make you obsess over it.
Here is what...
I should have been more descriptive in my original post. I checked the trunk well also and nothing is in there, and the inflation kit thing is fully secure.
I checked those too. Even drove today with the both seats down.
It sounds like something is swinging around, which is strange because its not like theres that much going on back there spacewise. I cant imagine this is coming from the suspension because the sound is so clear when heard from the...
Hi All - it has been awhile since posting, but I knew to turn here for some advice. Last week went over train tracks going about 45mph. Since then, I am getting a loud metallic banging noise from what sounds like the roof area passenger side back. The sound occurs almost constantly - over bumps...
Not sure if the issue still exists as of this post, but you need to clear it out of the Sync system. Even if you delete the message on your phone, it still stays in the car based on my experience.
I am looking to lift up each side of the car (one at a time) to take off 2 wheels at a time and wash/wax the inside/outside.
Is it safe/wise to use a 2X4 as a temporary jacking rail just long enough to get the jackstands under each jack point front/rear, and then let the car sit on two...
I am curious about this also. Mine makes a similar noise under similar conditions. It sounds somewhat metallic and almost like tension is being released and the parts are bouncing around. It is hard to describe, but it sounds and feels like there is just a lot of loose play in the clutch assembly.
All jokes aside - I never use a brush on the paint surfaces. When I use a brush on the windows, I never run it to the ends of the glass or get near the paint.
I never use a brush at the car wash and only use the spray. Even when using the spray, I use low pressure at first to avoid using high...
Nice job with the composition of those pictures and using scale to make the car appear larger than it really is. I had to do a few double takes to really grasp the scale, but very clever.
