Okay so, I did a quick search on Google and found nothing but a lot of rubbish that did not pertain to my problem. I have a Nexus 6 and have cleaned my emails, texts, voicemails, and everything that has to do with a notification.

My question is how do you get rid of the envelope? I do not have the touch screen. Thanks in advance!

This isn't a big problem but I've tried to get rid of this thing more than once but just wanted to try if anyone had found a solution on here.

Your question is not clear. Do you have an issue with you phone or with your car?

You have to clear it on your system as it stores separately from your phone. Whatever you receive while in the car, connected to bluetooth, will show the notification unless you view or delete. Just go to phone on your unit and you should be able to find messages pretty easily.

Not sure if the issue still exists as of this post, but you need to clear it out of the Sync system. Even if you delete the message on your phone, it still stays in the car based on my experience.
