Gas going bad in 2 weeks?? Never heard of that; maybe itās the heat and humidity in the south?
I use ultra 94 in all my lawn equipment too.. the gas in my tractor still smells as fresh as new and itās been out in the shed with major temp swings since October too. Not at all concerned with...
The car has sat since October in my heated garage temperature is a constant 65f so condensation would be nonexistent.
Think Iāll put some octane boost in , top it off with some fresh 94 and just be gentle with it for the first tank.... itās not like it takes long to burn one.
Iām totally wrong, the 350 and 500 have absolutely nothing in common... what was I thinking lol
Click the link on post 12 brainiac. That is what Iām referring to.
Wrong size, wrong offset, fits a jeep. And oh thatās right... the weight isnāt even advertised.
Time to own your above statement...
$200 Generic fit aftermarket wheels are not as good as the factory equipment. And in most cases are not only heavier but require an absurd amount of weight to balance. The aftermarket tolerances are far from what the car manufacturers require. If weāre talking forgestars or other premium brands...
I cringe when I see this... look at the write up on your link for the wheel; " wheels fit a wide variety of vehicles such as the 2006 & older Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ along with the Ford Ranger, Explorer & Escape.........
Nothing against this company but when you're shopping for wheels for a car...
Sure a premium 20" wheel can chop weight, but saying most 20's weigh less is wrong.
On an earlier thread a member here put gt500 20" on his 350 (I dont remember if they were factory or aftermarket) and added 8lbs to the rears and 6lbs to the fronts; sounds small but thats huge when its at the...
Stick with stock dimensions.. a little wider won't hurt but the boys and girls that designed and built this thing didn't put 20's on for a reason. increasing overall diameter and unsprung weight will not benefit this (or any) car.
Look at the gt500, essentially the same car but the wheels have...
Thanks fellas. Iāll just get the 470 from the dealer. Or the 590 if they donāt have it. Assuming itās a little heavier but I donāt think thatās much of a concern
Quick question... the battery in my 350 is toast. Just pulled it out and was surprised to see that itās only 470cca. Itās a motorcraft battery so I figured it was the original... just seems small. Is the right size?
So living in the snow belt Iām forced to park my gt350 for around 6 months each year. Having a whipple tuned for 94 octane Iām a little concerned about last years gas.
Iām wondering what kind of drop in the octane count youād see in that timeframe... and aside from not thrashing the car until...
unfortunately with the weather here we won't be doing this for at least a month. I won't pull my car out until the roads are clean and it warms up.. on cold spring pavement the tires break loose (like right loose) at 140kmh (thats 90mph for my American buds) scary as hell.
When we do line up I'm...
Maybe worth mentioning here...
the guys that did the work on my car are
a very reputable mustang shop, 25+ years in business, with a lot of experience with these cars. The owner has a ā16 gt350, whipplecharged with over 60000kms.
He uses Ford oil.
Wow I get being irate about the fact that someone messed with your car... but ripping on a dealer who's submitting a warranty claim for something thats obviously not warranty isn't cool bud.
