I get your frustration, and the concept of warranty only being valid for a non finished piece is ludicrous.. but its probably not any different with any company that produces this kind of part.
Just think about it from their perspective; Its not out of the realm of possibility that an incident...
No need to get butthurt cupcake. wasn't ripping on your EB. FWIW I think the EB mustangs are great.. in fact Im actually getting one for my daughter when she gets her licence.
My point is simply that the wings they sell are clearly not intended for the gt350.... if they're rated for 120mph what good it it on this car. Budget parts don't belong.
No different than putting a set of generic wheels on these cars... maybe they'll have the look you want but if you want...
So a couple things here to note....
1) You get what you pay for. Want quality go OEM or equivalent.
2) Obviously the AC wing is a cosmetic piece, If the best version is only good for 120mph it definitely doesn't belong on my car. Good for the trailer queen show crowd maybe.
3) Dont rip on...
Iām not sure my (wifeās) explorer st does too much āwobblingā⦠pretty sure itāll hold the road better than most solid axle mustangs from the past)
For that matter my ā21 lariat sport isnāt a wobbler either⦠lmao
the Shelby is on another level obviously but our household daily drivers drive...
so let me get this straight the voodoo is non porn junk. and the GT is irrelevant.....? just because youāre not able to buy one doesnāt take away from the incredible achievement that car is. The fact that a company thatās bread and butter is pickup trucks created it makes it even more...
Im with you on the blind brand loyalty thing. Real car guys like and appreciate a car based on its attribute vs the badge on the hood. The C8 Z06 is something for us all to be excited about..
Ford has done some outside the box stuff in the last 30 years too...
-SVO mustangs
-Lightning Trucks...
Im not religiously on the forum so I honestly didnāt know the topic had been discussed and is a sore spot.
My point is just that the earlier voodoo has been out long enough that the āproblemā engines have likely been identified and the other 98% are just fine.
Because the newer version is...
yeah ok jackass... maybe Iām simply making a point that it looks like all the voodoos are probably equally good. Iām not hacking on the newer ones.
So now that the gremlins are appearing in some of the 2019-2020 voodoos are we still thinking that they are the ābetterā option?
Not trying to stir the pot here, I know the failure rate of both versions is small percentage wise... Iām just curious what everyone thinks.
Ive owned both; 2019 Bullitt and currently 2017 gt350
Theres more to consider than just the engine. Which I can tell you from my own experience is worth the price of admission on its own. Transmission, brakes, interior, all better on the Shelby. Exterior is unique from the windshield forward...
Yup I remember when I met the GN... 17 years old in my foxboby. As Im passing what looked like grampas Buick I hear this whistle... by the time I caught on to what was happening and downshifted he was gone lol.
Cant say that I want one but I do think they're cool as hell.
Well I just spent the last 3 hours of my life swapping out to the lth. Pretty simple job but man do I hate jacking this car up and putting it on stands... I really need to stop procrastinating and get a lift.
After closer examination I found that the stock pipe actually pinches down to 2 1/4...
