My 1.66 short time came on 19 psi in the drag radials. I'm going to sneak it back up a few pounds and see if it helps a bit. I tried running them down to 17-18 at the track rental in November, and they were't happy..lol. 285/40-18 on a 10" rim, so not a lot of sidewall give to absorb the shock...

Yep, you did a good job not getting anxious and jumping the gun. It takes practice to get a manual trans car to run good times on street tires. The summer tires will hook somewhat, just can't hit them with a hard launch. If the weather holds out, may be at OSW with my car Wednesday night...
