Exactly. As long as people are polite it's totally understandable that they might want updates for something that is now coming up on 3 months late (late Jan was actually thrown around very early on as a target date.) It's not hard to understand that sometimes these things take longer than...
I'm really excited for these! Now that the 19" sample is in and seems to work can you provide any more information on when you might get wheels to send out?
So I pulled my Warriors over the weekend and immediately noticed a much quieter ride. I'm not surprised that going from soft PP shocks to considerably stiffer aftermarket shocks complete with a much stiffer urethane bushing in the lower mount that there's more noise with the Vikings, but I was...
Hell, I didn't even use a screwdriver. Once you wiggle the pad partway out you can just grab it and pull back towards the caliper. It'll compress the pistons.
I have a set of the Warriors I bought during a Black Friday sale. They're the new revision. I put them on in early December at the same time as some other stuff and noticed that there was more NVH over bumps, notably a clunk coming from the right rear wheel when hitting a larger bump, but after...
I'm doing the Ridge's track school with a buddy. I've run at Pacific a few times, but never the Ridge. My buddy has no track experience so I told him I'd do a school with him and the Ridge looks a lot nicer than Pacific.
Same here, got a set of PSS waiting for these wheels! I've got a track day in early May looming over this if we're looking at April for the 19" wheels.
My Brembos did squeal, but not beyond what I'd expect from performance oriented pads. I solved it by switching to XP10s and instead of simply squealing I'm now treated to a symphony of noise with each stop.
Same here. I wish the switch color was changeable, but since it's stuck being ice blue that's what I set the rest of the ambient stuff to. I felt the footwell lights and the lights in the door handle area were too bright even at the low setting, so I stuck a piece of white electrical tape over...
Probably because the GT PP cars have a unique brake setup and are using a pad better suited to high performance or track driving. Pads capable of standing up to track temperatures can make noise, this shouldn't come as a surprise. The TSB more than likely isn't covering the GT PP cars because...
Is the one on the right satin black and the one on the left satin graphite? If so, I take back what I said about the black looking too shiny in the earlier pics, it looks awesome!
Remember guys, every car is a compromise between many different factors. Chevy might have simply moved the slider a little closer to the "track car" side of the scale with the Camaro. It doesn't really mean much either way though because there's so much you can do to either car in the...
If we're using lug nuts with smaller seats are there any concerns with strength when used on a track? I would assume not since as you say so many other aftermarket wheels are using the smaller seat lugs, but I'd rather be safe and ask.
I love the DWS06. We don't get much snow in my area, winters are mostly just cold and rainy, and I've got the DWS06 on my stock PP wheels for winter use. They're an unbelievable improvement over the OE Pirellis in cold weather.
