$695 is pretty reasonable assuming their "primer polish" step is going to remove most of the minor imperfections on the car.
I recently purchased a portercable and all the products necessary to tackle my tuxedo black explorer.. should be fun.
Everyone keeps saying how it can't be anywhere close to the $46k of a loaded GT, but a base GT350 has to have a $7k option package added to the base price to get things like leather, nav etc that are on the GT.
You're saying that the engine changes, brakes (how much better than GT's PP?)...
Same.. I've held off picking up a '14 or '15 grand cherokee to see pricing on the base GT350.
I'll continue driving my older grand cherokee for the 3 months of crap weather here if it means driving the GT350 the other 9 months.
Hmm.
Looks like you'll be able to spec a base model with electronics package if you dont want mag ride.
They'll sell the shit out of these if it's $45k base with an available $2000 electronics pack.
For real traction you'll want a true drag radial / track tire like the NT05R, R888, or ET Street.
If it's more of a daily and could see rain you'll likely need to go with something like the MPSS.
With 600+hp you'll still likely spin quite a bit on the street with the drag radials.
The OP seems to contradict the notion of needing track pack before ordering R package.. who knows :frusty:
2015 GT350-R Option Pricing (MSRP):
R Package (over base GT350) = $3500.
SVT Touring Package = $3,000.
Navigation = $795.
Painted Black Roof = $695.
Over the top stripes = $475.
Track pack gets you suspension tuning, mag ride and wheels.. R gets you lightweighting, remove backseat and red accents?
Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
