The adapter is at the bottom of the injector in the picture. There is no adjustment, it makes the overall injector length the same as the stock injector.
Over thanksgiving break I installed a DW400, BAP & ID 1050X's. The ID's have the billet injector height adapters that have no clips on the bottom of the injector. There was absolutely zero chance of installing these injectors with the stock mounting holes in the Edelbrock rails. The ID...
Anybody have a trick to get the half shaft back out of the diff housing? The stock ones were a bitch to get out too but I ended up just using the shaft itself as a slide hammer and they popped out. There was no prying that moved either side. I tried the same on the DSS shaft I am pulling to...
Same thing here, Terry has been helpful and said the fastest fix would be to do it myself. Guessing either the boots are crap or maybe a sharp edge on the machined housing that's causing the issues. Have never replaced a CV boot before but looks fairly easy. Won't I need a new Axle Nut from...
Installed a set of DSS's new design 2000hp half shafts to try and eliminate the half shaft/hub noises I've been fighting. Install went good and put maybe 50 highway miles on them with very little noise. Still having some noise that sounds more like either the Viking shocks or the stock mounts...
My wife daily drove the car for a couple months with zero issues (short of the intercooler pump sticking on and killing the battery a few times) and stock drivability on a completely stock stage 1.
No, still haven't figured it out. I installed a new Timken hub and another new axle nut and it is still making the noise. I ran over to Brenspeed and grabbed a stock half shaft they had pulled off when upgrading a customer to stronger shafts. I am going to try that this weekend as well as...
I recently got the car out for the spring and took it on a short 60 mile trip with drag radials on. About half way through the trip we were slowing down for a stop light and started to hear a clunking noise from the passenger side rear in sync with the speed of the vehicle. Drove it back home...
Finally got the car back out last weekend and took a round trip of 60 miles with the drag radials on. About half way through the trip it started to get a knocking noise at low speed on the passenger rear, sounded like either a loose hub or axle nut. The hub felt nice and tight as far as the...
Installed mine last week, only got to drive it a couple of miles because I'm on my 3rd wheel hub replacement but the rear end feels much more solid. Previously I had all of the BMR items in my sig installed minus the CB762's and it was still a noticeable difference. Install was quick...
Thank you for posting, I have one of the first couple 2650's that were sent out and it has been on the car since July 2017. It was installed on my completely stock 2017 with the Edelbrock 50 state tune and ran and drove like stock for about 3 months and then we put an aftermarket tune on. Just...
Haven't been down the track yet, I'll just zip tie them out of the way for now. Thinking about a rear only set of stainless lines (have a JPC line lock with stainless fronts so I don't need a full kit), looks like Wilwood has a rear only kit 220-13913.
Just got my drag radials mounted on 17X10.5 race stars and noticed both rear Brake Lines and Speed Sensors are right up against the rim/tire. I am running no rear sway and Baer drag brakes in the rear. Thinking I need to go with a stainless line, just curious what everybody else is running...
Can't go wrong with either one, if you want to go Kooks they do have a full 3" option if you buy these adapter pipes to replace the reduced elbows that come standard with the headers...
