Yeah, I never liked that idea, E30s used to punch the coilover through the shock mount, horrible design.

Are these a "true" coilover on the rear, rather than Eibach setup with coilovers on the front and adjustment collars on the the standard rear spring location? I'm beginning to think I was a bit hasty buying my eibachs, maybe should have splashed out a bit more, saying that I don't plan to track...

This still may not give you the indication, as the fluid is trapped in that tube so any new contaminated fluid might not be visible.

Looks good, where did you get your plate? I ordered some alloy ones and cut them down myself but it's not the neatest so I wasn't too happy with them.

Yep, if there is anything and the detailer lets me know right away so I can deal with it immediately I'm sure it would be ok. It will be 1hr+ from me so it's a bit of an ask for a friend to go and check it. Anyway most of them would probably look at the wrong car.
