I considered this, as Royal Steering wheels make a lovely job with probably better materials than ford.
However I wanted the flat bottom and the duller chrome is a bonus.
How quickly does Ford correct things like this at the production stage?
Like the loom issue for example, what was the timescale between the first cars failing and the revised looms being fitted to the cars during production?
I'm expecting mine summer next year and it would be nice to think...
Sounds like a dry balljoint to me, was it a wheel free ramp or a four post one?
If you can get it on a four post one so it's on its wheels and get a couple of helpers to pull down on it while you play hunt the noise you might find it.
I just had an email too saying the same thing. Mine was ordered 23/08, looking at a June/July delivery, I was hoping it would be a couple months earlier.
Goosey, did you ever go with this? I was looking myself today and had the same questions as yourself. Either I am adding up the wrong parts or prices have increased alot!
Just my thoughts, I don't want to upset anybody and I'll be happy to be proved wrong :D
I have a bit of an obsession with rust, as I stay on the coast and I've spent years battling it with all my vehicles.
This Mustang will be the first new car I've ever bought so I'm determined to have it...
I don't want to start a big debate, and I know Mike at Modurstang appears to be very professional and I don't doubt his quality of service, but you know that UPOL Raptor is bedliner right?
It's a 2 pack hard epoxy coating. Yes, it will do an excellent job of protecting the underside of the car...
I would be surprised if it's fixed, looks written off to me, what with the roof being down and what looks like the nearside pillar dented. I wouldn't want it back after that.:(
Good luck with getting everything sorted out and I'm glad you are both ok.
I'm beginning to wish I had placed my order with Inverness instead of Perth. They are displaying all the signs of being useless already and I only placed my order three weeks ago. :(
