I'm having my roof wrapped but they can't wrap the antenna due to the shape. I know you can get a cover for the earlier shark fin one but does anybody do them for the later round type?
Cheers.
Its always a good thing to strip and grease brakes on a new car. They are installed dry from the factory and the dealers generally don't strip brakes until 20-30k miles. By that point the pads are seized in the carriers and the chances are the discs are buggered because they are stuck.
You will...
Well, they have agreed to -
1. Align the bootlid.
2. Replace the scuffed side skirt (this was noticed by them and a photo was sent to me, it needs replaced.)
3. Replace the scuffed front valance.
They cleaned up the scuff on the drivers door trim and although there may well be some strategic...
Cheers Steve, yes Perth, now Parks Ford.
I have mailed them asking for the splitter to be replaced, the bootlid to be aligned and the door trim to be either replaced or supplied. I'll see what comes back.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. If they re-align the boot lid, replace the splitter and did the door trim I would be happy enough.
I do have a slight concern about introducing rattles in the door trim after disturbing it though, is it worth the risk?
Morning Gents,
I had somebody inspect my new arrival for me as I am unable to due to being out of the country, he is in the detailing business so obviously has a keen eye and is very particular.
Anyway, he sent me the following photos, some points I agree with, but others could be debated...
I stumbled across this on the net and quite like the look of it. American Muscle are needing around ÂŁ450 for it delivered to the UK, including taxes etc. which is crazy for a piece of injection moulded plastic.
I can't find any UK suppliers, does anybody know of any?
Cheers.
BP Ultimate has the lowest Ethanol content of all the "Super" fuels.
I used to have a KTM with a plastic tank, these were known to swell with high Ethanol levels so I always used Ultimate, I don't suppose it makes much difference in the Mustang though.
It would be worth keeping in mind for older...
Black looks v nice and the red lights look great with it.
Mine arrived at the dealer (Perth) yesterday and I don't get home until the 10th.
Aaarrrrgh.:frusty:
You can only take advantage of the higher octane fuel if the ecu has the provision to advance the timing until it detects the knock, this will give you an increase in power.
If the ECU does not automatically advance the timing to suit then it would have to be remapped for the 98ron.
However, I...
So what do we reckon, tosh or not?
My dealer said that there had been delays but he was waiting for Focus RS's aswell, possibly ruling out the train incident in the states?
Where did this rumour come from about the damaged cars? Mine is expected at the dealers today and I reckon it's had a bit of a delay, I'm flapping now!
