I love the bullitt, and I wanted one before I got my california.
But today while driving I saw a bullitt, and I realised that I think the wheels on California look better than the bullitt.......
Im sure im not biased though.......
been keeping an eye on Mach1 prices and it appears they have dropped in price a bit, surprised,
there are a few examples of sub 20k auto/manual , there are currently about 6 examples around $85k +ORC
If i recall, retail was about $84k+ORC new so essentially same price as new
Google says
There were 700 Mustang Bullitt models made for Australia, with all of them being part of the global release for the 2019 model year. The first of these vehicles arrived in September 2018, and final deliveries took place in July 2019.
Total units: 700
Model year: 2019
So rarer...
I thought the mach1 was pretty cool too but correct me if I'm wrong but its a 10kw increased power with tribute colour/sticker job, for about 10k difference when new?
I too was looking at the bullit when it first came out and am a bit surprised its price hasn't increased as much....
Maybe all...
Agree. I think in hindsight, ive worded the questions poorly. And they could have been separate topics
Reliability won't be known for years to come potentially
Unfortunately i think looks also depends on what is around, eg the new evs (of all brands with those sleek light bars across the back...
When i got quotes it was about $4000aud and my resesrch showed that it would eventually peel off/bubble/lift
To a point i thought about doing it myself... at least i could i redo it every couple.of years for minimal.price
Aus only got the digital clusters and man im glad we did.
At the time it felt like premium upgrade a few years later, after seeing the s650 screens, i see now it as a classic blend of technology and class,
Who knows in 10 yrs if the analogue clusters will appear nostalgic?
Mine has 6000km =3700 odd miles.
Im in my late 30s, i love this car but only love driving it on weekends, friends place, going for an actual drive.
I would not enjoy driving it daily to work/chores/etc, im paranoid about people opening their door on mine, plus in tight parking spots, its a pain...
^
Not my actual cars but, s650 looks good but i think s550 oozes class even though it doesnt look as modern
^ thats mine, i think it looks great on a tow truck (seriously)
Most likely user error: hand break locked up, after a wash
My first v8,
Lets say looks, 2ndhand prices, mechahnically and overall
The novelty of the new look has worn off for me and im kind of preferring the s550 look, the s650 look is more aggressive but tamer at the same time.
Prices i think long term the s550 will hold up stronger than average cars
In my neck...
Its now about 2 years since they stopped selling s550 or the CS
Absolutely my favourite s550 cosmetically (exc gt350/500 because we dont have them here)
And i see a few for sale, they seem to be holding their valur better than stock but slowly coming down
Im kinda tempted to buy a different...
Thank you for the excellent link as always. I will see what i can do
Im also thinkinf of just putting a car cover over the seat to keep it pristine. It will uglify it though.....
In 2 minds
This is not for a mustang but this is the forum i trust the most.
I've just bought a Japanese car, 2 years old, 4000km, the entire car is like new except ive just noticed the drivers seat, has a chip on the seam and leather looks worn/creased in one section
Ive seen youtube videos of seats...
Update: i think you guys were 100% correct
A couple of days ago i rinsed my car with pressure washer to remove dust.
Moved the car into garage. Three days later it half locked. But it quickly disengaged when i moved the car
Never happened to me and any other branded car befoee in my life
