This is not for a mustang but this is the forum i trust the most.

I've just bought a Japanese car, 2 years old, 4000km, the entire car is like new except ive just noticed the drivers seat, has a chip on the seam and leather looks worn/creased in one section

Ive seen youtube videos of seats being fixed by fillling them, respraying them, but they look kinda fake

Can i fix the creases/chip for this one? Or preventative maintenace?

For repairs, I'd discuss with an upholstery or detailing shop. They work on these issues, use their tools and products every day.

For care, I've been using Wolfgang Leather Conditioner and have enjoyed the results. Using a microfiber towel, I apply light coats, little-by-little when I feel the seats need it. The scent of the product is nice and compliments the leather. While it conditions the materials, it works like any good skin conditioner: the product is absorbed and welcomed by the leather. No greasy or slick feel. No artificial shine.

The creases you would apply Leather Fresh, but that chunk missing is going to be hard because of where it is and being prone to the repair failing. Still worth a go, you would use the leather filler and Leather Fresh.

They have plenty of videos to guide you, as well as plenty of other YouTube videos on ColourLock.

Thank you for the excellent link as always. I will see what i can do

Im also thinkinf of just putting a car cover over the seat to keep it pristine. It will uglify it though.....
