Curious if any of you have experienced your transmission shifting hard when you first shift into gear? Both forward and in reverse.

I’ll call bull on this post. We’ve run Michelins on everything from Large pickups to cars, pulling trailers, you name it. Always consistent, long lasting, smooth riding, etc. Only other brand I like that’s about the same is Continental.

How hard are you driving? I have the Continental Extreme Contacts and I don’t notice any of that.

I’d use one all year. Sure helps the longevity of your battery.

Thanks for the info. Actually bought a set of Continental EXTREME CONTACT DWS06 PLUS. Have been extremely impressed with them. Would recommend them for sure!

Several weeks in with the Continentals, and still extremely impressed with them. Worth the money for sure.

Drive it more, or use a battery tender.

Hard to justify the the price premium for me. The Continentals are very solid and last longer.

That’s the reason I went with the Continentals over the PS4S. Buddy who has managed Discount Tire for years said that they are both amazing tires, but the Pilots will probably not last as long.

I sure hope not. While the newer Vettes are mid-engine, I’m just not a fan. If a car is created as a mid-engine that’s fine. I just hope they don’t try to turn the Mustang into some kind of super car competitor.

yes, this is the part I was talking about. I agree that it might have been too much on this particular car. However, I was wondering more about doing something similar on the Decklid to my car, not the rest of the stripes.

Saw this car a few days ago at a local restaurant. Snapped a quick pic, as I had not see anyone put striping on the Decklid. kind of cool looking. Anyone done something like this? What did you use to fill those little grooves?
