  1. What did you do to your GT350 today?

    Curious to know too…
  2. Tremec TR-3160 Fluid change?

I noticed a thread where someone mentioned changing out the fluid when new, just like changing out engine oil on a new engine during break in. Is that really a thing? Iā€˜ve never heard of that before, and I believe normally not done till 100K. Right now Iā€˜m sitting at 6700 miles. Also saw a...
  3. Radar Detectors

Thousands less than a ticket plus insurance surcharges.
  4. Vinyl records - are they worth keeping after a flood?

Of course then it would look like a bootleg….;-)
  5. Vinyl records - are they worth keeping after a flood?

https://recordplayerexpert.com/vinyl-mold/ https://www.amazon.com/MOBILE-FIDELITY-SOUND-INNER-SLEEVES/dp/B001LQSFKY?th=1 In terms of worth, records that have value are limited in number, need to be in pristine condition, and have all the original sleeves, inserts, etc. Sentimental value...
  6. Coolant flush - confirmation, comments?

Hi Guys, Sorry I know there have been other threads, here and other Mustang groups. I've looked through all and decided this seems the best; 1. Drain radiator -- 5/16" hose attached to petcock run to bucket 2. Remove thermostat from housing and replace housing (first pull lower radiator...
  7. Removing belly pan/re coolant flush

Well, this weekend I forged ahead and removed the splitter then the belly pan. Seemed to me splitter had to come off. Biggest PIA was removing the half moon clips inside the bumper.
  8. Removing belly pan/re coolant flush

Hi All, It’s been 6 years so it’s that time. To reach the shuttle cock I’m sure the belly pan need to be removed. Can’t remember, can the belly pan come off without the splitter first being pulled off? I hate the idea of unsnapping the plastic lock tabs, always afraid of them breaking off. I...
  9. FL-2087-A Oil Filter?

Im sure that’s true. What I’m saying by sorted is that we’ll all know moving forward if GT500 failures either happen or don’t with the A filters, or GT350s. If so due to collapsing, they’ll have to come up with an equivalent to the original. Or we’re all paranoid and the A is just fine...
  10. Ford threadlockers?

Reporting back, I’ve had the car on track as well as some favorite back roads with the fast S turns mentioned. Very pleased with the results! Rear no longer feels floaty and catching up with the front. Much more planted and feeling confident in the chassis. Definitely not placebo effect...
  11. FL-2087-A Oil Filter?

This is wild. Pandemic situation all over again where you couldn’t get them, people trying substitute filter with plastic supports. Just ordered a couple extra from Rock Auto. Have to believe this will get sorted in the coming months as I just can’t see Ford dealing with blown GT500 engines...
  12. Optimal Performance Gains for $

Great advice right there. E85 and a tune will get you real power gains if NA is the end all. Suspension if you want confidence in turning. I know wheel hop is a thing, but I’m not a drag racer….
  13. Glitter in oil

Unfortunately I don’t think those rivets are available as a Ford supplied part. Iā€˜m guessing if the rivets are gone/shot then the splitter is probably chewed up also, so a replacement might be the best bet if aesthetics are important. Minor issue I know compared to your main concern though...
  14. Carbon Fiber Wheels

Find a shop that works on exotics and high end cars. I lucked out with a Porsche shop nearby, who regularly works on Ferraris, Lambos, etc.
  15. Top Tier gas - has this been done before?

I never understood 89. ā€œRegularā€ was always 87 and premium was always minimum 91, preferably 93. I remember Sunoco used to have 94.
  16. 23 Mach 1 vs. 24 Dark Horse

    Don’t like any of those…like the 280Z.
  17. Reduce Rotating Mass & Unsprung Weight

I can attest to the weight of weight of 4 gauge and larger cable, having been closely involved in car audio in a past life. Moving weight to the back not a bad thing though
  18. HPDE - Harnesses

Okay I found the order. Bought two of these jr3z6360044aa. That’s the part, same left or right.
  19. HPDE - Harnesses

I did and now can’t remember if it didn’t matter. I’d have to see if I can find the order.
  20. Michigan 2018 GT350 Remaining Part Out

Interested in the trim around the headlight switch, as long as it’s perfect, zero scratches.
