It's for the "aero curtains", from what I've heard it's blocked on the 18 PP cars because the wheels are too wide for the air to flow around them, and instead it shoots air directly at the tire. This sounds logical, except it wasn't blocked on my old 16 GT PP. I wonder if the Roush ones flow...

If the HID is that bad to you on a 15-17, the 18 LED is still going to be inadequate. There's hardly a noticeable difference between the two.

Having gone from a 16 to an 18, they are not very noticeably brighter to me.

The backup camera on my wife's escape gave the same "not available" message about a year ago when it was around 15 degrees out. Once the care warmed up it started working again. No problems since then.

Any drone with this? Been contemplating it but don't want to ruin the nice ride as is with no drone.

So that's more evidence pointing towards the wheels being too wide to benefit from having them. Weird thing is that my 16 GT PP didn't have them blocked off but my 18 has the same wheels

That would make sense. Mine is a PP and the edge of the tire is pretty much right in line with the vent in the wheel well

Does anyone know why the aero curtain inlets on the front fascia of the 2018 are blocked off on some models but not on others? Something I noticed after getting my 18 and can't find any information about it.

No spacers, fits perfect imo

I hate how horrible their tread life is. I have about 7k miles on mine and the rears are just about toast. The fronts are probably about 50%. This is with a whole lot of highway miles and a bit of spirited driving through backroads. Also for how much they cost you can definitely get better...

They don't make 285/40-19, they have 285/35-19 but that would be a smaller sidewall than the 275/40

Isn't he s type axleback (with the stock resonator) about the same volume as the borla touring? I have a corsa sport catback (same mufflers as the touring, plus double x) and it is dead silent inside he car unless I'm higher than 2500rpm, even then it is really quiet unless I'm stomping the gas

I had the outlaws with x pipe, horrible drone, worse than any of the several systems I've used over the lat 4 mustangs I've had. It sounded great when it wasnt droning though. But I would absolutely never recommend it to anyone just based on the drone.

I just put the Corsa sport Catback on my car and it ounds great, dead silent when cruising or when applying light throttle but it definitely makes some noise when I get on it. It's not as loud as I would have thought, but I have only heard it rom inside the car so far.

Thanks for the responses. To further clarify my question, I'm talking about roush axleback with the resonator vs borla s type catback with the x pipe, I know the roush with the resonator delete is loud as hell, I've already done that and then put the resonator back on because it was too loud...
